Kent Larsen alias Sir Duke is an ambitious, driven entrepreneur with a great passion for music always striving for both self-development as well as professional development who sees opportunities in what is impossible for others.
In his late teens he discovered the joy of playing and entertaining in front of an audience and the rest is a successful career within DJ-touring.
For over 25 years Sir Duke has been travelling around the world performing in front of more than 500.000 people among everything from small private events to large arenas and massive crowds.
To be able to add the title “Swedish Official DJ” in UEFA fans area during the European Football Cup in Kiev 2012, is yet another confirmation of being a high performer with various on demand proposals.
The only natural step forward for Sir Duke was to add a new milestone to his repertoire by becoming and artist, where undiscovered areas could bring his career further on.
Teaming up with the producer/songwriter/DJ, Ari Lethonen “Alphaman”, and his protégé “Ben Mikus”, also artist and producer with +500k fan and subscribers, a
new project and era took its first steps towards upcoming hits. Their natural collaboration ended up in a fresh fusion between Caribbean and European house music. The result “Coco Jamboo” was presented to the producers, a spicy flavor with Rumpunch (Rummy Nanji – Mighty 44 & Bomfunk MC ́s) was added to the mix and the success was a fact!
The project immediately catches Universal Music Sweden ́s attention and got picked up on the spot and released May 5th, 2017. The Swedish final of the contest “Miss Universe”, held in Stockholm 2016, had the privilege to take part of the hit even before the release, as the opening act together with, and in front of many big stars.
With over 2 000 000 million streams Sir Duke sure knows the tune and can make any dancefloor go crazy to his beats!
Worldwide hit places as a direct effect of this successful production is Scandinavian Dance Chart (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) in top 4 and DJ World Pool (together with David Guetta, Lady Gaga, Pink among many other famous world artists) where place 8 is an effort well worth mentioning.
This summer 2023, will be no exception for Sir Duke with an agenda starting to become pleasant full of performances on different clubs, outdoor venues, various stages, and festivals around the country.
The most tickling and exciting revelation although, is the new release of Sir Duke ́s cover of Nick Kamen ́s “I promise myself”. This great hit from the 80 ́s will return in a modern and amorous track, released in March 2023.
Throughout Sir Duke ́s eventful career many famous collaborations and artist have crossed his path such as Sheila Bonnick “Boney M”, Haddaway, Sascha Lappessen “Sash”, Dr Alban among many other.
Sir Duke ́s vision of the future is bright, and he has no intention of neither resting nor slowing down, on the contrary: a clear target is set – to continue grow by distribution both music and joy all over the world.
