The Allergies are the latest signing to Jalapeno Records and this track Be With You is released exclusively on Jalapeno Funk Vol. 6 ahead of their debut EP on the label - Kicking Up Dust EP.
The Allergies are Bristol beat merchants DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeat who have made it their mission to take vintage sounds and reshape them for the modern dance floor.
Future classics like 'Heartbreaker' [Tune of the Month - Mixmag] and uptempo stomper 'As We Do Our Thing' have been championed on 6Music  and live their DJ sets mash up their funky influences with hard-earned hip-hop skills.
Since forming in 2012 they've racked up two EPs, a handful of remixes, and won over crowds from Greece to Bestival. 2015 looks like a big year for The Allergies. 
If you think the fun (and funk) factor has been missing from the breaks lately, then The Allergies might just have the remedy.

Bosq’s aptly titled third full-length effort “Love & Resistance” is a collection of songs that reflect a producer’s continuing emergence by diving deeper into his influences. The strains of Afro and Latin flavours are interwoven and still heavily permeate but the underlying groove and rhythms have taken on a more modern, jazz-funk and disco-soul vibe with nods to Bobby Caldwell, Roy Ayers, the Mizell brothers and Nile Rodgers’Chic.
Already featuring “Can’t Seem To Hide” with Megan Doherty that made a splash as the first single from the album garnering a 10/10 rating from Mixmag, the whole album is soldered together with each track being a single-worthy release in it’s own right. Featuring guest vocalists on all but one of the tunes including frequent collaborators Kaleta, and Nicole Willis, along with Ray Lugo who’s known for his work in Kokolo and Boogaloo Destroyers. LA based singer Induce and new duo Lucid Paradise with E da Boss & Ishtar round out the cast of Bosq’s most vocally varied album work to date, reflecting both his growth as an artist and his willingness to push his own sonic boundaries.
A relentless work ethic fused with a broad and varied music palette all attuned to the groove and a focus on making folks move has led to numerous remix projects, most recently with legendary Benin-based Orchestre Poly-Rythmo De Cotonou. With a steadily growing fan base and reputation amongst fellow artists and musicians, Bosq’s immediate future is already laden with releases lined up for Fania and his collaborative effort Body Music alongside The Rapture’s Vito Roccoforte.

The Mushrooms Project are well known for their sleazy mid-tempo laid-back percussive style, a sound that immediately resonated with rising stars and newly signed label mates Earthboogie. 

Specifically it was ‘Dubby Bolas’ from the Italian duo’s 2016 album ‘Rivea Corymbosa’ album that really excited Earthboogie and equally, the Mushrooms were fans of the afro disco sound the Londoners displayed on their debut track ‘Route Ten To Interzone’.

The mutual appreciation led to this remix project and now, released exclusively for Record Store Day 2018, their complementary productions styles collide with great effect.

Sir Hiss is a snake who serves as an advisor to Prince John.  While he is a master of the spoken word and of etiquette, he is also a very clever, conniving, scheming and sinister fellow, who is completely loyal to Prince John.  

Sir Hiss is also an accomplished hypnotist, using his eyes and his body as effectively as any snake would in order to achieve his nefarious ends.
