Both armed with strong track records individually, contemporary garage and house heads may well already recognise their names: Dynascope broke through in 2019 and has fired off bassline shot after bassline shot with clarity and consistency. With a keen ear for that gritty UK-style aesthetic, he’s been a regular on esteemed labels such as Crucast, YoSH and ClubFriendly… Labels which Digital Koala has also frequented on the regular. 

Breaking through just a few years before Dynascope, Russian heavyweight Digital Koala boasts an equally decorated discography and shares a keen ear on the UK bass sound. So much so he regularly hosts his own online radio shows Ru-Cast where he explores British bass culture through a Russian perspective.

Dedicated ambassadors of the timeless house and garage sound, both rubbing shoulders on key labels in the movement, it was only a matter of time before the pair linked up and shared their sonic vision to create something special. ‘Touch The Sky’ is the result and NUVOLVE are proud to have captured this exclusive moment in time.

Straight-up jacking four-to-the-floor business with one leg in the timeless filtered house sound and another in the pumping, bass-fuelled energy of garage, ‘Touch The Sky’ has a vitality and energy that runs throughout the groove as their pair go toe-to-toe with their focus and signature elements.

Warm wavey synths, steam roller drums, soul-troubling bass purrs, intricate details on the fills and an urgent, empowering vocal sample; all the elements come together to create a universal fusion for the dancefloor that will sing to all corners; heavy enough for the bassline mob, warm and soulful enough for the sing-along crew and loaded with a lyrical message that any will relate to during these intense and turbulent times around the world… Legends never break, they just learn to fight. Dés son plus jeune age, Kevin Nicolas, originaire de couvin, est passionné par la musique, sous toute ses formes.Il adorait ecouté a longueur de journée MTV pour déceler les dernierres nouveautés à le mode, mais aussi surtout à la recherche du nouveau son plus particulié...

Plus tard, à 14 ans il pris l'ampli et la guitard de son père afin de rendre visite a un amis ayant lui meme une batterie... afin de joué quelque notes, qui finiront pas devenir des musiques joué par un groupe contenant maintenant 5 membres.tres vite, ils enchainent les concerts dans la région de couvin a l'occasion de la fete de la musique, dans divers cafés de la region de chimay et meme jusqu'à Charleroi...

Mais un groupe n'était pas facile à organiser et à gérer, fini par s'estompé pour ensuite laisser place a une nouvelle forme de music le Djing, qu'il decouvre par un amis, Protek, qui lui apprendra toutes les bases.Et c'est a ce moment qu'il decide de s'acheter un petite console Hercule ainsi que le programme Virtual dj.Mais tres vite, il se lasse et decide de passé a la vitesse supérieur en passant aux platines CD pour enfin mixer "comme un vrai!".

Depuis tout petit Mathieu Massart est très attiré par la musique électronique. Durant les années 90 ses influences était la dance/trance. Vers les années 2000 il découvrit grâce à ses cousins un autre style : LA Dubstep. Mais il resta fidèle aux bons vieux sons techno tel que la dance, trance et aussi à la house-electro. Les années passèrent et il se confirma dans les "harder styles". Il a commencé la composition depuis juin/juillet 2009 à ce jour. Il rencontra Kévin Nicolas ( Dj ) pour former Me & My friend !
