I've been sitting on this song for a while, not really sure what to do with it, so I figured I'd just share it with you all. Feel free to vibe to it while you read this.

As you probably know, I've been working on this sub-genre inspired by BLXSTBXRN (not surprised he gave up on this community, honestly), but I’ve been trying to put my own spin on it, making it something unique. Honestly, I’ve spent so much time on my blast tracks—days, weeks, even months—because I’m super picky about how they sound. That’s why I haven’t been dropping new tracks as often lately; it just takes so much out of me to get them exactly how I want them. Like the last track I did with Dubzy (he also quit because of this shitty community)? That one took me a solid two months to fully mix and finish because everything was so messed up.

But here’s the thing that’s really been bugging me. I’m noticing a bunch of people jumping on this "trainwreck" of a genre without giving me any credit, asking for my thoughts, or even showing a little respect for the work I've put in. It’s like they’re just copying what I’ve done, and not even doing it well. It’s kind of draining, to be honest, seeing other people get attention for something I’ve worked so hard to create, and they don’t even acknowledge where it came from—it’s honestly mind-boggling.

I hope all of you who’ve copied me would just let this genre die peacefully unless I still want to create it, which at the moment, I really don’t.

I've also spoken on this exact subject in a song that’s private, even though it’s easily accessible. Hint: The Color Blast playlist. So please check that out as well, since I don’t want to be writing about the same things multiple times. This is the last straw. If things continue this way, I’ll completely and entirely quit blast and phonk in general forever.
