Houston native born Erik Moore is an aspiring male vocalist song writer producer. From the age of 6 he began singing in church choirs and performing in school plays. His all around passion for music grew from listening to his Father sing Motown songs and classic soul music on long fishing trips. His musical influences are: Stevie Wonder Sam Cook Otis Redding Luther Vandross Bill Withers Michael Jackson Jodeci HTOWN New Edition R.Kelly. By the age of 11 he became the lead vocalist for F.M.Black Middle school male chorus and concert choir. Inspired by the Rhythm and Blues music of the 90’s , he began writing his own songs . In doing this Erik discovered a love for freestyling songs which lead to him actually rapping in local talent shows and amongst friends. However his heart for soul and R&B grew even more . Singing in local groups influenced him into music production . Currently SirChox is working on his debut album Rare Confections . This well rounded artist aims to please combining smooth vocals with urban sounds presenting ear candy smooth as Chocolate.
