Four Flies is delighted to present a super juicy treat for all 7-inch vinyl devotees: the first of its 45s series singles to feature tracks from Giuliano Sorgini’s masterpiece Zoo Folle. To ensure maximum DJing pleasure, we’ve picked two of the grooviest tracks from the original recording session, never before released in this format.

The psychedelic funk number “Mad Town”, on Side A, drags you in with its infectious drum breaks and the rapid yet hypnotic flute of Nino Rapicavoli. “Ultima Caccia”, on Side B, is sheer afro-tribal bliss, with drums by Sorgini himself and massive funky percussion by legendary session player Enzo Restuccia.

Candid Mess Feat. Joshua Idehen

Acid Test 09 marks the first true collaboration from Tin Man and Donato Dozzy. After spending studio time together in Rome the two have completed a beautifully deep EP of music. Tin Man's emotional acid lines become shooting stars in Dozzy's hypnotic atmosphere.  Limited hand painted sleeves. Mastered by Rashad at Dubplates & Mastering.

this is my contribution to "From The Stars Vol 1" a compilation of sci-fi cover versions – out march 29th on NANG Records UK

      V - the visitors was one of my favorite shows when I was in elementary school
      I actually re-watched the whole show before sitting down and producing this version.
      That means the 1983 two-part movie, the 3-part "V: Final Battle" of 1984, as well as all 19 episodes of the TV series!! I even tried to watch the new V (2009) but it's just doesn't compare well. I guess all those 3D graphics are not as amusing as the cheap sfx and props of the 80s. 

    This cover version/remix is very different from the original, in includes elements of the main theme of V the final battle as well as of the TV series soundtrack. I straightened the time signature form 12/8 to 4/4 to make it work on the dancefloor. I guess the result is very early-italo-electro. Hope you like it!
