Mastra, Sirion Records long-time friend and at the same time Bernese veteran when it comes to electronic music in all its facets, is launching an extensive oeuvre consisting of three independent EP's. It forms a fusion between visual art in the form of cover artwork and musical creation. Mastra and the visual artist Johannes Luna had this fusion planned quite some time, but it took a clandestine meeting in a pub to seal the deal. They philosophized extensively about the connection between visual art and music. It is the abstraction in Mastra's music that inspired Johannes and ultimately flowed into his art to make this complete work possible. Musically, this project moves in deep and techhouse realms with influences from the genres of Dub, Funk and Soul, paired with the usual light-footedness from Mastra's production pool.

spacebox720 has been immersed in analog created soundscapes for many years. Be it as a tinkerer as well as a live act. Whether ambient, dubby house stories or warm house sounds, the sound aesthetic and groove are always unmistakable.
With the three original tracks Rise up, Reflections and Perpetuum Mobile, Sandro Ambrosi ventures this time into the realms of classic Dubtechno. With a lot of flair, he manages to skillfully break up the structures of the genre with a lot of surface elements and infinite space.
With remixes from France's dubhouse/techno guarantor Upwellings, our longtime friend Pawas from Berlin, the super talented KlangDruide from Bern and Sirion's Nhoj Smada, the boundaries shift once again with additional genres.

Dutchman David Labeij is releasing his second EP on Sirion, after having already remixed Mike Machine's "Joker" on Sirion in 2011.
The two original tracks bear David's unique signature and skillfully move between deep, minimalist house landscapes, dubtechno and hypnotic synthesizer elements.
What starts off as classic dubtechno with the obligatory distinctive dub chords develops into an interesting potpourri served up with piano elements and synths over the course of the track "Rhea".
The funk-inspired bassline gives the deep house track "Daphnis" a solid foundation. Various hypnotic synthesizer elements and dubby stabs unfold their full potential over the course of the song and give it the typical Labeij attitude.
The different remixes were created by Quenum and Masaya from the French-speaking part of Switzerland. They are complemented by fitting interpretations from Mike Machine from Zurich and Sirion's Nhoj Smada.

After individual musical journeys as DJs, event organizers, and live acts, Andreas and Reto have united as Feature Complete. In their initial studio sessions, they're now blending their diverse musical influences into a cohesive sound.

The fruit of this collaboration is the "Trinity" EP, a perfect fit for Sirion Records.

Soul Lemon, the second track, immediately invites you to dance and immerse yourself with its warm kicks, solid basslines, and catchy synth lines. Kellerkind's remix elevates the original to a maintime level with its tribal framework and slightly darker synth elements.

The title track, Trinity, is more driving. While the bassline gently massages your stomach, the various virtuoso synth elements animate your arms and encourage uninhibited dancing. In contrast, Britta Arnold's interpretation of Trinity is more hypnotic, mysterious, and mythical.

Cippi is not only a reference to a Kosovar chocolate bar, but also the stage name of the DJ and producer from the west of Bern.
With his EP Shadow Hunt, he makes his debut with a skillful blend of trippy house and tech house. Driving, groovy, and sexy, the three main tracks would stand on their own.
But with the help of remixes by Arkady Antsyrev and young local Mark Hall, this package becomes a complete whole.

Low Volume is a collaboration between two talented Indian born producers Pawas and Ambrish. The EP features three original tracks including remixes by Nhar and Mastra.

Look behind is a calm and melodic track that develops a wonderful drive with the help of the varied bassline, the acid-infused parts used coming across very playful.
Nhar's remix masterfully takes over the melodic elements of the original but catapults the track back into the eighties with the skillfully reinterpreted synth parts, the concise clap and the vocals.

The minimal house number Apache Gold impresses with its reduction paired with groovy-dubby bassline and a cleverly staged guitar hook.

Topsides, nevertheless more subtle, strings together sophisticated synth parts in a varied way and garnishes them with pads and funky-tinged synth elements.
Mastra's remix focuses more on the calm synth parts, which he uses more concisely and combines with additional rhythm elements.

When Kellerkind published his first tracks on Sirion Records in 2008, nobody ever considered the success story of Marco Biagini's alter ego.
Eight years later he looks back on numerous releases, among others on Stil vor Talent, Flash, KaterMukke or Hive Audio. His record debut on Sirion in 2012 another breakthrough, with special mention required for the title song "Disco on the Dancefloor". It’s with this song that Kellerkind has definitely won the hearts of his audience and thus left a lasting aftertaste which continues until today.
His fourth EP on Sirion with the promising title "Way Out" builds up on the 2010 published Altro Mondo EP.
Three reduced Techhouse tracks promising pure dancefloor feeling with finely assorted forward directional sound elements and smooth deepness. The slightly hypnotic vocal smasher in Christian Nielsen Remix carries nicely with the three tracks in every way and completes the catalog number 42 elegantly.

Exactly two years after his first Sirion Release we proudly present MASTRA’s second 12“ titled
„Out of Nowhere“. This time around in collaboration with his buddy JON DONSON, who also
released his first EP on Sirion in Spring 2010.
The mood and structure of this latest coup entirely reflects the familiar yet different of the
Bernese natives MASTRA &amp; JON DONSON. For the first time in form of an exciting fusion of
individuals signed by both distinct handwritings.
„Out of Nowhere“ is a deep and, owing to a impulsive bass drum, repetitive Deep House
Track. This impression is given through a state of mind clearly offside of a classic course.
Nevertheless its bits and pieces remain stuck and arent easily banished.
PABLO BOLIVAR is known for his large spectrum of high quality compositions. Upholding that
standard he delights with yet another impressive interpretation. The subtly chosen synth
revive the base of the original track - an impulsive remix of vast variety.
The duo added another firecracker to this vinyl release with „Out of Pulpo“ and its distinctive
percussion and pressing sub bass. Perfectly suitable for the later advanced hours on the
dance floor and equally multifaceted as „Out of Nowhere“.

Sirion Records' 43rd release with the young Bernese artist S.Kull aka Sebastian Kull promises to be quite a spherical affair, including a grandiose remix of Jonas Saalbach. Further interpretations from the Greek Midnight Pulse and the Bernese Dj and producer Sképson elegantly round off the package.
S. Kull's original creates a bittersweet atmosphere, just with a few elements, located somewhere between space and time. Only the almost angelic voice and the lyrics of Evelina Lu takes you back to present reality.
Deeper, playful and absolutely morning-hour-perfect, the remix of Jonas Saalbach wraps itself over the original track and lends an earthy note without losing the original theme.
The two interpretations of Midnight Pulse and Sképson come even closer to the here and now. The supernatural soundscapes of the original, paired with groovy bass lines create an elegant transition to dancefloor-oriented exuberance.

He integrates this quite aptly and constructively into the album. The rather simple track titles represent moving moments in his musical development. 
Starting off with a quite jazzy number he makes full circle back to his roots in disco on the dance floor. As the title of the main track says „Disco on the Dancefloor“ is ideally suited fort he dance floor with is groovy bass and poignant disco stabs, ready to thrill the masses. The rhythm and atmosphere of this song make summer approach just a little quicker. 
Continuing with „It’s Like“ – a rather raw number, shaped by its driving bass line, which takes the buildup of the album further and with its compelling vocals manages to contrast from classic deep- tech house songs. Kellerkind cranks it up with „Triple Distilled“  - organs, trumpets, flutes and synchs. A truly musical piece, destined to make you dance. „It’s 2AM“ keeps that pace of movement. The catchy voices add that something special to the song. „Backflash“ is next – this track also appeared on Kellerkinds recently released EP on Stil Vor Talent. Mighty sounds, staged dramatically – a perfect transition to „Play it Loud“. Kellerkind relies entirely on melodic bass line at the center of this track and its strong sub bass to pull you in. The precisely placed, bizarre vocal cuts maintain the songs diversity and tension. This is one not to be missed on the dance floor. Concluding the Album shouldn’t get your heart pumping, but rather melting into deeper, quieter tracks in which the artist takes us. The final track, the perfect ending to the album, is an incredibly melancholic chord sequence added to a cozy beat. Truly a successful, exciting, well told story.

to great lengths in creating something they can extract pleasure from.
It is with this kind of dedication to give full scope and exploration to unknown realms inside
his musical development that Jon Donson’s latest accomplishment can be described.
The main track blasts in full bloom to this effect right from the get go. Hypnotic advancement
is instantly bestowed through its sprouting shoots and essences within. Even with an overall
reduction both original songs transcend a summery ease in perfection. Incessantly we let the
rhythms and exquisite sounds carry us to where only natures pulse can caress us, protected
and safe, allowing picturesque associations freely.
Patrick Podage, a fellow studio mate contributes a fulminate and healthy secondary
interpretation of the main track. Arranging the instruments on higher frequencies, building
the frame and its distinctive structure to be emphasized by the ripe bass line is what makes
this track what it is. He incorporates the original sounds smartly, and creates tantalizing
variations with independent accents. Jon Donson delivers additionally a second original track,
called “You and Me” – nice and smooth as well.

True to Sirion traditions this compilation contains Bernese artists only. An excellent overview
of the available potential – a healthy mix of familiar and never been there. It’s an exiting
project of bundling energy and using synergies. A main goal of this was a strong exchange
and collecting new experiences. And for a few artists this is the musical debut. A compilation
in album length represents electronic Sirion music in all it’s facets and comes full circle.

Already eagerly awaiting the second part which will be presented in early 2013 and holds big
promises.

The artist duo Sleek & Cheek only recently joined forces are Daniele und Luca, a.k.a. Little Lu of the Elektrostubete collective, who already had the opportunity to release his remix work on Sirion vinyl in 2011. The two Berne based artists focused more and more on making music together in the last years. A variety of diverse tracks were created. The songs on the upcoming EP are focused on contemporary dance floor. Quickly it’s clear, no prisoners, no compromise, strictly music. The overall structure is rather reduced nevertheless the tracks carry an incredible dynamic. Sure, sitting on a park bench… enjoying the carefree, straightforward fair weather music with a pinch of melancholy that touches the soul in an overall positive way – that too was intentional.  
Content wise the masterpiece is well rounded. Upon a first hearing the tracks even sound alike. But take a closer listen and find the various shapes and ways that revoke the first impression clearly. Subtle details appear and the classic DJ arrangements are set perfectly. 
East London based East End Dubs has contributed a powerful, mainly kick drum and sub bass focused remix of “Go Home”. The reduced sounds in the background give room to the main subject, in true EED style! Here too his own laws apply; superior reduced sounds with heavy compression – you can’t ask for a better way to be moved by true bass filled statures. The smiles on quivering lips in the faces are merely the icing at this point.

Sirion Records is a Swiss music label based in Berne and Zurich, founded in 2004.
To start with Sirion primarily and continuously created DJ mixes and presented them on local radio stations as well as on international internet radio stations to the greater music community. Among others, their program "The Trip" on the American online radio "Frisky Radio" (www.friskyradio.com), which has been aired monthly well over a hundred times. 
In the hometown of Berne Sirion has been regularly organizing parties since 2004, where congenials come together to celebrate music. 

The focus has been increasingly aimed on the ultimate goal: publishing music on the label Sirion Records. Since Spring 2007, numerous digital releases have found their way into the electronic music world. Sirion can list wide interest and a benevolent recognition by now. The growing awareness benefits both the label as well as the artists who publish on Sirion. The basic idea of a local platform brings with it the claim to be able to provide a strong base. Promoting local artists and connecting them with internationally renowned artists, always leads to exciting projects.

Since Fall 2009 Sirions publications resp SR020 are partially available as tangible records. Despite the hard times for the industry, the risky step was taken and music got pressed on vinyl. Expressing the love for the vinyl record and as appreciation of emerging music.
With the project of SR030 Kellerkind "Disco On The Dancefloor" in the spring of 2012, the first complete album including CD and video production was published. This project is without question an important milestone in the history of Sirion because there has never been a more intense or more successful one before.

In addition to publications Sirion operates their FM and online radio show "The Trip" and regularly hosts successful party events in the area of  Berne.
Their platform allows local music creators to connect with international musicians, challenges and encourages their creativity and leads all in a lively debate into a marketable product. The publication and marketing of these products has already born many fruits and added to new horizons.
Since the year 2013, a further step in the music industry is done, Sirion Records now also acts as publishing company under the name Noiris publishing.
