Flashback - Do Anything For You

At the beginning of February, we told you about the forthcoming full-length album by the sci-fi-lovin' bedroom producer known as Com Truise, called Galactic Melt. Still a ways off from seeing that record, we're going to be treated to the three-song Fairlight EP on May 3, courtesy of releasing label Ghostly. None of those homegrown, electro-tinged tunes come from Truise's aforementioned debut LP, and yet they do trick of tiding us over until it arrives. Take the hyper-compressed "Polyhurt," where '80s-inspired sonic motifs are infused with fresh compositional ideas and a reinvigorated soul, one that emanates as much heartache as neon glow. It'll certainly be enough to satiate our nostalgic urges until Com Truise unveils Galactic Melt on July 5.

Francis Inferno Orchestra, from Australia, has turned out a genre defying chugger of a track that stands out as fresh, unusual and dirty fun. He really is one of the rising stars so prepare to hear a lot more about him.

Toomy Disco, from Argentina, has crafted a woozy and pulsating remix whos name doesnt even do it justice. His enthusiasm spills into this pitched down track and his production skills are outstanding.

Psychemagik, from the UK, are on a serious roll and this track is just plain epic. Its got so much joy and fun imbibed into it. Designed to get people excited and dancing. Outdoor summer poolparty anyone?

Nicholas, from Italy, has provided a seriously smooth opener to this sampler and sets the tone wonderfully with his flawless production style and constant buildups.
