LYRICS:
I looked at him.

There was a look of panic on his face, so I went to try and comfort him.

After the accident, he never looked the same. There was something different about him, but I couldn't discern what it could be, especially with the mood.

There was a sense of discomfort in the air. I didn’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.

He started to get scared, but I couldn’t figure out why he was scared, or how he was feeling.
After a moment, he fainted. I guess he got so nervous about our meeting, he just broke down.

Not knowing what’s going on, I grabbed some things from the front of the truck.



A short time later, he returned to consciousness. After he came back, I said that “I’m here for you.”

I had to act in the moment, and had to in a certain way.
For circumstances could’ve had a different outcome, if I wasn’t there, or did something different.

I have been there for him… for so long.
For years, we made the best memories, had the best experiences, and we looked out for each other.

I could tell he needs me, as much as I need him.

However, I had some thoughts I wanted to tell him. But I could not bear to go on, because it could happen all over again.
Go back to square one.

Then I put him in the passenger seat.
