Arc Nade x NLMT - Playing with My Mind [Free Download]

As one of Southpoint’s original artists, Pavv returns in blazing form to his home label with a monster of an EP, entitled ‘Falling’. Within the scene, Pavv is already known for his skippy UKG production style, focusing on masterfully crafted bass sounds and highly energetic overall arrangements, with this EP featuring the entire array of his signature, plus two vocal features and a powerhouse remix too.

The title track features Bristol’s Charli Brix, whose breathy, soulful vocals lead the way around a fantastic bass driven composition. Next up: ‘Gully Face’ and ‘Scatter Dub’, with Pavv using his unique ability to continuously create original and catchy bass sounds, which he uses to his full advantage on both of these tunes with intense results, stacked with sub-driven wobblers and vibrant drum arrangements.

Finally, we see homegrown talent Duke return to the forefront of everything Southpoint with his weighty vocal of ‘Pick Up The Pace’. Considering that these two are close friends, you can feel the chemistry between the pair as the track rages on with Duke’s intricate lyricism skipping across the surface of Pavv’s bassline madness flowing beneath. On remix duty, the ever-ready Hamdi makes another return to the release roster with his explosive remix of ‘Gully Face’, and he doesn’t disappoint.
