Ambient guitar with delay loops.  This is a recently rediscovered improvisation I recorded at home around 2000 (give or take a year or so).  The improvisation slowly modulates through each of the [2,4] hexanies within a 1-3-5-7-9 dekany.  It's pretty rough (yes, it was recorded on a cassette boom box), but it does have some very nice haunting moments.

Work in progress...  Each note has frequency shifted between left and right channels to create 8 Hz binaural beats.  Still developing this music -- and the Camomile/Pd plugin for creating it.

Awhile back I saw a video of "Rara" players on the streets in Haiti, and loved how they created those interlocking rhythmic melodies together even though most of the instruments can only play one note.  I tried to make something that hints at that effect by using multiple tracks that each play one note, each independently panning around like a musician meandering through the crowd.  Of course this goes off on its own direction, and this particular street party (or riot or whatever it is) takes place only in some imaginary land. 

I keep coming back to 9EDO tuning (i.e. octave split evenly into 9 notes), and it seemed like the right scale for this - it has just the right amount of weirdness and danger, while also sounding musically convincing.
