Ancestelar - Valkiria

Golden Shaman represents the fusion of the ancestral and the mystical with a golden energy that symbolizes an era of spiritual connection and universal wisdom. A shaman is a spiritual guide, someone who connects with invisible worlds and brings back knowledge for the community. In this case, the music on my album acts as that shaman, uniting the ancestral rhythms of different cultures with the modernity of trance.

Gold not only evokes richness and light, but also the golden times of humanity, those moments of transcendence, celebration and union through sound. Each track is designed to take you on a journey, from African drums to the shamanic sounds of Latin America, creating a musical ritual that connects body, mind and soul.

Un shaman es un guía espiritual, alguien que conecta con mundos invisibles y trae de vuelta conocimientos para la comunidad. En este caso, la música de mi álbum actúa como ese chamán, uniendo los ritmos ancestrales de diferentes culturas con la modernidad del trance.

El dorado no solo evoca riqueza y luz, sino también los tiempos dorados de la humanidad, esos momentos de trascendencia, celebración y unión a través del sonido. Cada track está diseñado para llevarte en un viaje, desde los tambores africanos hasta los sonidos chamánicos de América Latina, creando un ritual musical que conecta cuerpo, mente y alma.

This set embodies where I am in my music journey.

I began DJing in October 2024 and quickly became obsessed. My love for house and techno began about 2.5 years ago through incredible friends and an inspiring DJ girlfriend who cracked open my world. Since then, I’ve mixed across genres, still discovering who I am as an artist — and this set marks a true turning point.

In March 2024, I visited Berlin for the first time. The sound coursed through me. I felt the bass rumble beneath my feet and vibrate through the wooden floorboards of Hoppetosse. At Berghain, the tinted windows of the Panorama Bar glowed and felt as if they were stained glass of a church filtering soft morning sun onto a sea of moving bodies. That moment — that light, that churning chaotic unison of the crowd in rhythm — was one of the most beautiful scenes that ever captured me.

Music helped me find my authenticity and align with it.

I’ve written poetry about it.
I’ve dreamed of it.

And now, I get to release my first mix that even slightly touches that vibration.

Every track was discovered through Bandcamp to support artists that embody an underground feeling. Raw. Tribal. Analog. Driving. This is Berlin techno — as I heard it and experienced, and now the offering of my first version of it. Evah.

[berlin echoes - transmission] 001

This soundtrack was composed for @experimental_creati0ns event on August 21, 2025 in which I explored the theme "chaos" and what it means to me. You will hear elements of the bustle and hustle of living in New York, things we are currently listening to in the news, and snippets of news from the tragedy of 9/11 (a moment in which my father was victim).

Interweaved through this, I improvised my own thoughts and laments in sonic form through the voice of the cello.

Kaos

Classical to the bone, with fire in his tone, Christian Serrano-Torres embarks on a musical quest reflecting his hyper-active mind and love for exploration. 

As a soloist, he has been featured on The Morning Show on KEXP radio, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, The Momentary, and opened for Jay Leno as the duo band Rozenbridge. In 2022, he performed at the first-ever FORMAT Festival, curated by Roya Sachs in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Currently, he is living in Brooklyn, NY collecting raw data from the underground raves to launch his electronic project as Sir Rx.
