Inspired by my trip to Ghana, I have put together a mix of strictly African heat. This mix is a collection of African music from late 2019 to very early 2020. Tunes from African powerhouses, such as Burna Boy, WizKid, Tiwa Savage, Teni, Tekno and many more.  This mix is good for the gym, a refreshing wake up, or at your work desk to get those hips moving. As a Brooklyn based DJ, Vlogger, Graphic Designer, and Creative, Trey Benjamin represents the creative millennial trying to cultivate their artistic vision for this world. It might sound like a lot, so just call him the curator of cool sh#t. Skrt Skrt! 
In elementary school, he was that kid that was never paying attention as he spent majority of his academic career seemingly in his own world, making masterpieces in the back of his notebooks. As a first generation American of Trinidadian heritage, he would also sneak into his brother’s room everyday after school just to play on his DJ set.
Something’s never change…Trey’s love for creating art through mixing music and design followed him to college where he created his very own radio show. Every Friday morning he was spinning the oldest to newest Hip Hop and R&B and mixing with the best of Dancehall and Soca on WCDB Albany 90.9 FM. Trey Benjamin is a graduate of Albany University where he studied in Rhetoric & Communication and Art.
