Introducing our next Sister of Sound - KOIAA

New to the DJ realm but longtime raver Koiaa has had her fair share of musical experiences. With a subtle spiritual influence, Koiaa brings her unique blend of deep house, progressive and techno, to create deep diving sets full of rich melodies and heavy baselines. 

First having an appearance guest mix on KISS FM, to getting involved with our friends at BushTechno, Koiaa is new to the Melbourne club scene. She’s spent most of her time behind the decks out in the bush, playing at private parties and in hidden suburban warehouses. 

Gathering inspiration from her favourite dance floors across the globe, from Alchemy circle at BOOM festival in Portugal, to Sisyphus in Berlin. Koiaa aims to evoke feelings from within, triggering your sensations with cosmic sounds to create your unique musical experience.

This is a recording from my set in the infamous cage at Revolver Upstairs. I played 3:30pm to 5:00pm Sunday afternoon. By far the funnest set i've played to date. And to be able bring the sounds i love to the cage was a dream come true. Massive thanks to @staywise-1 for call up to play at her Ep launch Take over after the Revolver residents. And Thanks to Revolver, my mates that came down and the Sunday arvo Revs punters! Hope you enjoy!

Dragon Dreaming 2022 - this festival was the first party I ever attended many years ago, the first time I ever played a set completely made up of my own creations and a place that has shaped my life and sound in so many ways. Seeing it flying again after three long years on hiatus and being reunited with so many special people was an absolute treat. The lake was full, the skies were blue, the grass was green and there were smiles all around. This is a recording of the icing on the cake, being given the privilege of playing the closing set on the main stage was a real full circle moment for me, and one I will always cherish, so thank you to the organisers and everyone who was there for the whole weekend and made it so bloody special. This is my recording from Elements Festival 2022, I played the closing set on the 'Elementary' Stage 1am - 3am. 

A Downtempo set that is 109bpm - 115bpm blending through a range of Organic, Deep, Tribal and Psychedelic sounds.

Esoteric Festival 2019 really took my mind, soul and body and launched it deep into the cosmos. 

We were incredibly blessed to share this special musical moment together which resulted in an hour and a half of tribal tech, progressive flow, healing energies and chunk infused bombs. The set flowed beautifully and was a true representation of where we stand together right now in life. We hope you all felt the energy and intentions of this recorded piece of Doof history.
