Hope is a new single by the phenomenal Ugandan artiste, Sitenda. The song, which was written by Sitenda and produced by Abaasa, is meant to ignite hope in the hearts of people and encourages us to hold onto God, in whom Hope is.

Play On is a song about reconciliation and joy- the joy of reconnecting with someone or rebuilding a relationship, whether between a husband and wife, a parent and a child, two friends, or any other kind of relationship. It stresses the line “let the music play on,” which emphasises the desire for relationships to go on and on beautifully, just like music does.

An extremely experimental singer/songwriter, Sitenda best describes her sound as an eclectic blend of afro house, soul, jazz and world music. She has a released a number of singles, jncluding the hit single “Ela “(charted no.1 on Africa's finest, Sanyu FM), “Without You,” and the soulful “Nze nawe.” The songs are part of her debut EP “Journey,”which was released in 2016.Sitenda’s music carries themes about God, love, joy, life and happiness, all which are well represented within her groove based music with electronic, house and afro fusion influences.

Sitenda has done musical collaborations with Ugandan rapper, Benezeri, on a song titled “Mama,” rapper Ruyonga on a song “Crossfire,” and musician JC Muyonjo on a song “Don’t Lose a Beautiful Thing.” She has also performed with artists like Maurice Kirya, featured as an artiste on live band shows in Uganda (Yego Night, Lockdown), Campus Film Premier in Kenya, and acted in a musical production. She has also graced many different stages including blankets and wine, tusker project fame (season 6 2013), and Akadope. 
Her aim is to make music that will help this generation and the next encounter the heart of God and know that true joy and love is something that you can have every day.
