The work of John Hughes impacted me greatly as a little kid, and while some of his work was a little early for a single-digit human, a lot of it resonated. I like to think that the movies raised me a little faster and introduced me to concepts that no one else told me. When I made this track, I just had an amalgamation of bits of his movies, primarily The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, and Some Kind of Wonderful.
