Crazy P(enis) will be forever associated with the glory days of Paper Recordings. As the acid house fever dream started to fade, a new generation of ravers took the ball and ran with it for a more groove-driven sound. The band and label were part of the pack.

Paper Recordings first met Jim, Chris and Tim when they were fresh off the boat from North Wales and Nottingham, with a sampler tucked under their arms and a bag full of amazing demos. The first release soon led to their album, 'A Nice Hot Bath With...', which wrote the blueprint for what would become known as nu-disco. Sample heavy and great musicianship fed by late nights on the dance floors of Manchester made it an instant classic.

The band grew with the addition of Danielle Moore's lead vocals and star power. On their next album, The Wicked Is Music', the sound consolidated into the one that has gone on to conquer the world. House, disco, broken beats, funk and pop are all mixed into a heady mix of forward facing dance music.

The Early Years compilation charts their rise from of their early catalogue of ground-breaking productions.

Manuel Costela is a Spanish producer from Madrid.

His music is mostly Deep house with touches of Funk & Grooves.
At a very young age, he started the Bucketround label. 
Which currently goes by the tenth reference and only produces Vinyl format and also is owner of 2phonic Recordings on digital format.

He has worked and is working in countless labels of international prestige some of them are: TH Pressing (Japan), Sub_Urban, Trax Records, Deep Explorer Music, Mate Recordings, Nang Records, Deepart Sounds, Black Jack Records, Klassik (Chicago),Rare Wiri, Spa In Disco, B2 Recordings, Closer To Truth, Moatun7, Black Riot, and more...

And has collaborated with a lot of great artists, such as: K Alexi Shelby, Dubbyman, Above Smoke, Ney Faustini, Danielle Baldelli, Reggie Dokes, Dj Rocca, Pablo Bolivar, Rayko, Tominori Hosoya, and many many more.

For 2023/2024 he is working on new special collaborations with Robert Owens (Musical Directions), K Alexi, Jamie Anderson, Dj Rocca, Tominori Hosoya, and future projects on Deeper Shades Recordings, Moulton (San Francisco) and Vibe Collide Records.

That's exactly what happened when Fila Brazilia's Steve Cobby & Third Attempt hooked up to create some stunning sounds for their new EP.

B Human kicks things off with the first of two collaborations, and it's all kinds of rolling, hypnotic, spaced-out, Balearic business. Floating minor keys, walking bass and a gorgeous chugging guitar make it sun-blessed.

Language Of The Heart is the solo offering by Third Attempt, and is a tripped out smoker's delight. Soul II Soul, Crazy P and Nightmares on Wax can all be felt, perfect for those early evening or 'back-to-mine' sessions.
