Recently I came to celebrate my “3.000th Follower” : THANKS to everyone!
And now TODAY, with THIS MIX, I contribute to celebrating something else:
REMEMBER WHEN …? „LOVE HANGOVER“ was your favourite tune for three years in a row ? You don´t ? I DO ! – You weren´t born in a Disco ? Me, for sure. Or in an “old cold rundown tenement slum”, Love Child ? Me neither.
But I was born near an AFN/ American Forces Network Radio Station, and discovered that “Beatles”, “Stones” and all those whiteasses were utterly BORING, their sounds I felt as callous, INSENSITIVE TRASH - compared to all that “Black Music”, “Soul”, “Funk”, Philly Grooves, Stax, Memphis, Chicago, Detroit Sounds.
I was into all of that since I was a six, seven year old, in a small little central German town – TOTALLY into BLACK MUSIC ! Odd ? Everyone stared at me disbelieving, or disgusted. But I didn´t care. But even then, though I enjoyed “Black Music”, I was annoyed by all these “(Black) Stereotypes”: 
“(Black) People” should be this way that way, they should sing and play this way that way : “Identity Politics” in the 1960s/1970s. But I: HAVE A DREAM ! Everyone should be the way they REALLY FEEL, no matter what it is, what “colour”, “where they come from”.
ALL LIVES MATTER !
Sure I also adored Aretha or Chaka, but then DIANA: she was different. She didn´t care about what presumably “A Black Woman in the 1960s/70s/80s” should be like, what she should say, feel, sing and think like. 
She walked her OWN way. HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY, DIANA ROSS !
