This Is Trax Vol.1 – A brand new concept album series launched via the Toolroom Records sub label that showcases the spectrum of sound that the label is now renowned for. The ethos is simple, straight up club tracks, made by DJ’s for DJ’s on the underground tech house and techno circuit.

The remit of Trax has always been about both nurturing new talent, while also shining a light on producers who consistently create forward-thinking and well-crafted club music. The tracklist of this album certainly reflects this mantra - with cuts from well respected heads such as ATFC, Piemont, Pablo Say and DJ Fronter, alongside fresh names Acid Skys, Vangelis Kostoxenakis and Landmark. Happy new year everybody! Well, not quite yet… But elrow Music wants to keep up with the high energy of the forthcoming holiday celebrations presenting its BPM compilation in advance for all of you, lucky people! ‘The BPM Release 2017’ compilation is our tribute to the most important festival happening in the beginning of 2017: BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Once again, elrow’s presence will be strong and elrow Music wanted to leave its mark in the 10 days stravaganzza happening in the Mayan Riviera. The twelve track comp opens with ‘Lights Down (Original Mix)’ by Cassell, a slow but firm statement of pure tech-house, with great and sexy vocals. Then, the energy starts to raise with Cristian Merino’s ‘Tech Nights (Original Mix)’, a total dancefloor killer with the vibe one expects from any elrow installment. Vibe that keeps up in ‘Jack Nation (Original Mix)’ by Freedom B, with a very recognizable and well placed vocal line and a strong percussion. It is followed by ‘Special Guest (Original Mix)’, this time by one of elrow’s resident, George Privatti: sexy vocals, strong bassline and the best vibe you can get in a dancefloor! Then we have Josu Freire’s ‘Come On (Original Mix)’, a true orgy of bass, amazing synth lines and perfect and darkish vibe. Another highlight, ‘Do It Like (Original Mix)’ by Marcellus Wallace & Ross Roberts, is a great track with an amazing groove and filled with soulful touches, making it perfect for any moment on the dancefloor. The compilation closes with ‘Trip ft. Major De (Original Mix)’ by Pax, maybe the darkest banger of the entire record, with great vocal lines, a strong techno progression, but filled with groove and good vibes. Altogether, this ‘BPM Release 2017’ will make a lot of people dance their way to Playa del Carmen’s Quinta Avenida to elrow Music’s pace. Great way to start the year!

Luigi Poggiani aka Siwell, born in Rome and immediately showed a deep interest for music.
As a teenager he investigated various means of production using, sequencer, keyboards and devices midi, which launched him in the world of musical productions.
In November 2006 came Siwell's first release while external collaborations and remixes followed like “Man With The Red Face” by Mark Knight and Funkagenda just to name one, remix that signing in 2008 the beginning of the collaboration with Toolroom Records until today. 
Not content though Luigi forged ahead releasing his debut artist album "Not So Minimal" on Sphera Records, label which he set up on 2008 and has had huge support with releases of the best international artists.
Actually, Siwell is one of the most active dj-producers on the Tech House scene with more than 150 official releases behind. 
In more than 15 years of DJ career he had the pleasure to perform all around the world from Europe to USA and South America in some of the most important clubs and festivals like at Space, Pachà, Ministry Of Sound, Soul Tech Festival, Cavo Paradiso, Bora Bora, ADE and Miami WMC official events just to name a few. 
In his previous years he has signed tracks on Toolroom Records, Stereo Productions, Axtone Sony Music etc. and collaborations and remixes for the most important artists such like Chus, Mihalis Safras, Mark Knight, Sebastien Leger, Butch, Umek, Roger Sanchez and many others.
Constantly evolving, In 2020 Siwell has started a new project, his new label "Tropica Recods" focused on tech house and house music, label that reached already great achievements on the global charts.
