Six Missing is the ambient project of Austin-based composer, musician, and producer TJ Dumser, exploring memory, impermanence, and emotion through immersive soundscapes. His work blends layered guitar swells, delicate synths, and organic textures, evoking introspection, connection, and the beauty of the unseen.

Influenced by Brian Eno, Ólafur Arnalds, and Nils Frahm, Dumser crafts deeply personal compositions that focus on human touch, intuition, and emotion. Each piece is shaped with intention, embracing subtle imperfections that make music feel alive and deeply felt.

The name Six Missing originates from a supernatural experience at a historic Pennsylvania cabin near the Battle of Brandywine, where six soldiers remain unaccounted for. This connection between history, presence, and the unknown defines Dumser’s ethos—bridging the seen and unseen, the personal and the universal.

With a decade of sobriety and an ever-expanding body of work, Dumser continues to push the boundaries of ambient music. Six Missing doesn’t just fill space—it transforms it, offering a place for reflection, healing, and transformation.
