Embarking on his electronic music journey in the mid-90s, Sixth Tone found inspiration in the tracks of legendary artists, a spark that ignited his passion for production. Evolving from a fervent love for music to the meticulous cultivation of artistic talent, he delved into experimentation during his teenage years under an alternate moniker. The transformation from passion to proficiency unfolded organically, with years of commitment and practice refining his craft. 

In the late 2000s, Sixth Tone made his debut in Bangalore, India, marking the beginning of a decade-long immersion in the underground music culture of the country. With an unwavering commitment bordering on obsession, his focus on Techno became a driving force behind his musical endeavors. The resulting euphoria fueled his quest to make a distinctive impact on both the music scene and club culture.

Sixth Tone's production skills carve a path through deep, dark, atmospherically enticing, and hypnotic music, leading listeners on a journey uniquely his own. His undying passion for electronic music echoes in his DJ sets, earning acclaim from renowned figures in the global electronic music and techno scene, including Adam Beyer, Agoria, Ame, ARTBAT, Btraits, Boxia, Chris Von B, Cristian Varela, Danner, Dixon, Frank Maurel, John Digweed, Pablo Caballero, Piemont, Solomun, Sintek, and many more.
Debuting on his label Since 16 Music with the "Deeds Ep," Sixth Tone garnered appreciation from renowned electronic music radio presenters and djproducers such as Annie Mac, B.Traits, Paco Osuna, Marco Bailey, Maceo Plex, and trance legend Armin Van Burren. Notable releases include the "Immerse Ep" on BlackVogue Ltd in 2018, featuring techno tracks that received acclaim from Cristian Varela, Danner, and Pablo Caballero.

After a hiatus, Sixth Tone returned with the bass-heavy, dance-floor-filling acid- techno cut, "M30," on Dubai's techno maestro Adam Rahman's KitchenSync Records. In 2019, he unleashed a stream of heavy, relentless peak-hour techno releases, including the "Prisoner" ep on Hypnotic Skull. Sixth Tone explored a newer approach to music production, incorporating psychoacoustics in releases like the "Liquid Lies Ep" on Sulino Records and "To Be The Beat" on Airsound Records.

His contributions to various artist compilations on Differed Records, LW Recordings, Dark gadgets Recordings and Technosforza received praise from industry heavyweights.

In 2020, Sixth Tone embraced a new direction, focusing on psychoacoustics with the "Polar Distortion" ep on KitchenSync Records, earning support from Boxia, Sintek, Maceo Plex, and Frank Maurel.

Beyond his artist persona, Sixth Tone, with a decade of experience, shares his musical knowledge as a DJ, music and production faculty, studio engineer, contributing to Resonance Studio, Inventure Academy, Natyaalaya School of Dance and Music, Marshalz Studio and themusicscool.

His past performances at renowned venues across India, as well as an extensive discography of original releases and remixes, affirm Sixth Tone's indomitable presence in the global electronic music scene.
