"Can't rain forever" is the new single by Remì Genovese. An instrumental piece, inspired by a true story, that of a person of good intentions like many, who is going through a period of life where she gets involved and seeks her redemption. Will she find it?

“It can't rain forever” is a very common saying that is used to build courage or to encourage others in particularly complicated and stressful moments. "It can't rain forever" means that the difficult periods of life cannot last forever, that the obstacles that are encountered are destined, sooner or later, to disappear as quickly as they appeared.

 

“It can't rain forever” is part of a much more ambitious project. It is a concept album consisting of seven tracks that musically represent seven "emotional splits" of contemporaneity. Remì Genovese, Sicilian composer of African origins, paints seven "musical retables" investigating and mixing personal themes and current affairs, autobiographical narration and social reflection. The noble matter of this album comes directly from the tradition of the electronic House, but is constantly hybridized with Ambient, Afro and Indie influences, resulting in an extremely eclectic and personal genre. The thematic alternations, the sound contrasts are the building blocks of a real narrative, symbolically significant, which traces the most important phases of the composer's life: the Afro-European origins resonate in a warm and deliberately exotic beat; the elegance of the flow is that of the best night clubs in the Italian capitals; the rhetoric, on the other hand, is baroque, it is entirely southern.
