This is a simple interval latched  into the Dream Mode of a Walrus Sloer, battling it out with a basically-dimed Chase Bliss Onward.  I believe that’s going into the full wet reverse mode of a Line 6 Echo Park, but with basically zero attack it’s not doing much. At some point I hit the momentary button on an Industrialectric RN-1M and that creates a little chaos. At :55 I glance over at ky guitar, sitting there in a stand minding its own business, and I pluck the open B string. That’s really the only “playing” here; the rest is the effects doing their thing and some knob twiddling.

So this is a little almost-runaway thing with the Industrialectric (RIP) Echo Degrader, and a little spring from the absolutely sublime Echo Fix EF-P2.  I believe there's a little saturation from the Deco v2.  Just trying to see how loopy it'll get before it runs away with itself.  And yeah, for some reason this noodle reminds me of stoned-out Gomez.  Not that that's a bad thing....

chaos rains, chaos reigns

This is a "live" version of The First Realization (Parasite), although I recorded this one first.  Instead of the loop, I'm playing [roughly] the same phrase, live (ergo, it's only one guitar track).  It's otherwise basically the same setup: Walrus Sloer -> Chase Bliss Onward -> Some other stuff (maybe the RM-1N, if memory serves).  I like the drone better on this one, for whatever that's worth.

the first realization is the hardest to eradicate

This is a relatively simple loop feeding into a Walrus Sloer at almost full mix, and then having the pad-y nature of that battle it out with the catch-and-hold thing the Onward does.  I think there's a few other things in there too (RM-1N?  Although I don't think it's doing to much), but I don't really remember at this point.  I think I'm playing over the loop a bit, and maybe twiddling some knobs.  I don't really get how to control the Onward, so I'm not sure how to do things like make sure it doesn't cut out completely, and how to "play" it more rhythmically.  But I think this sounds cool regardless.
