Here is my interpretation of the third separation stage of the alchemical process. After reading articles and essays online, I understood this part as being a purification, filtering and cleansing stage. I tried to convey those points with an ambient piece that has a reflective and meditative feel. 

This was created on an ALM 3U 52hp modular skiff with the following: Jasmine and Olive Trees Water sequencer, clocked by DivKid’s OCHD, is quantized through Intellijel Scales to CalSynths Rangoon (MI Rings clone), then to Qu-Bit Nautilus delay. Modulation by OCHD and 2 VCA. An additional track was added in Ableton Live using Slate+Ash Choreographs. Effects used were Transit by Baby Audio and Valhalla Supermassive reverb. Warning for those not into the “Rings into Clouds” modular vibe – this sounds similar! 🙂
