Australian electronic duo, The Aston Shuffle return to Axtone for the 2nd appearance on the label, the 1st being their collaboration with Tommy Trash, ‘Won’t Get Lost’ that achieved true anthem status, reaching the Beatport summit.

NEW_ID continue their production purple patch, swiftly following up on their remix of Kraak & Smaak’s ‘How We Gonna Stop The Time’ that garnered support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Avicii, Tiesto & Hardwell to name but a few.

Having been tipped by Dancing Astronaut as one of Summer 2014’s Top Breakthrough artists NEW_ID are plowing their own path in the dance music sphere, displaying the quality that attracted them to Axwell’s Axtone imprint.

‘Tear It Down’ was written and recorded in the depths of the London winter earlier this year with long­time collaborator Styalz Fuego (Won’t Get Lost, Thomas Gold ‘Remember’) and Ivor Novello award­winning, Golden Globe and Grammy­nominated Amanda Ghost (Florence & The Machine, Beyoncé, Scissor Sisters).

On this remix, NEW_ID have taken 'Tear It Down' from a feel­good house jam, into a sublime slice of peak time house music. Retaining the soulful vocals in their entirety, ‘Tear It Down’ has a magic that’s been in short supply on the main­stages of late but this will be welcomed with open arms.

The original of ‘Tear It Down’ features on The Aston Shuffle’s long­awaited debut album; Photographs, that also includes the singles Back & Forth, No Place Like Home, Comfortable and Can’t Stop Now.

UK DJ and producer Corey James delivers his anthemic new production ‘Back In Time’ featuring the vocals of HENKO, on Steve Angello’s SIZE Records label.

  Utilising a rumbling build-up with a huge progressive feel, the aptly named, ‘Back In Time’ transports listeners back to sounds that echo the early work of Angello himself. With layered chords and a euphoric breakdown showcasing Corey’s diverse abilities, the Liverpool-based DJ and producer recently signed to SIZE Records following a string of impressive releases and remixes on Angello’s well-renowned label, with the SIZE boss stating: 

"Since I heard Corey’s music I heard hunger, talent and will. Once I got to know him I saw something that reminded me of myself when I was young. I’m extremely excited to see what the future holds and I’ll do anything to support him! Welcome to the family Let’s have some fun.” 

Having built a reputation for menacing synth patterns and festival-ready basslines, Corey has rapidly risen through the industry, gaining support from dance heavyweights Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Nicky Romero. Last year, Steve Angello recruited Corey to provide a guest mix for his BBC Radio 1 residency show.  

“Signing to SIZE Records is a dream come true,” added Corey. “Watching Steve Angello perform for the first time is what motivated me to become a DJ/Producer and pursue a career in music. I feel very honoured to be part of the label and the SIZE family.”
