Producer and DJ Wilza is proud to announce the upcoming release of his highly anticipated four-track EP, “New Jack House Vol. 1,” set to drop on 6th December via their own label, SwingBeat Records. This vibrant release is a bold tribute to the genre that inspired it—New Jack Swing—delivering a fresh twist on its timeless sound for the electronic music scene.

New Jack Swing, a genre that masterfully blended R&B, hip-hop, and funk, dominated the airwaves in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. But despite its rich legacy, it has remained surprisingly underexplored in the realm of electronic music. Enter Wilza, who has made it his mission to revive and reimagine the genre, transforming its infectious grooves and soulful melodies into modern dancefloor anthems.

“There’s a magic to New Jack Swing that I feel has been slept on,” says Wilza. “While many genres have been reinvented in electronic music, this one hasn’t had its moment in the spotlight. ‘New Jack House Vol. 1’ is my way of bringing these classics back into the conversation—nostalgic yet redefined for today’s audience.”

About the EP

The four tracks on “New Jack House Vol. 1” embody the spirit of the original New Jack Swing movement, while infusing it with Wilza’s forward-thinking electronic production. Each track combines nostalgic vocal samples, funky basslines, and the irresistible rhythms of house music, resulting in a soundscape that bridges the past and the present.

Highlights of the EP include:
	•	‘Body’: A high-energy opener that fuses classic vocal chops with modern house beats.
	•	‘Call Me’: A deep, groovy track showcasing Wilza’s ability to bring soulful energy to the dancefloor.
