Following on from the success of the original, comes a four-track remix EP of HELENA’s electro house anthem ‘Levity’ ft. Shawnee Taylor. To be released on July 28th via Ultra, the package contains three remixes courtesy of Fareoh, Maarcos and Merk & Kremont, with a fourth to be decided via an exclusive Talenthouse competition.

Young New York DJ and producer Fareoh, strips it back to its rhythmical core before dropping into a softly twinkling piano chorus, before euphoric, punchy electro pop climax. A bubbling tech-progressive house rework comes courtesy of Maarcos, with an infectious riff-based hook. Merk & Kremont focus on generous use of drums and accompanying synth chords before hitting a funky sound designed to get feet moving.

With the impressive competition prize package for the fourth remix including flights to one of HELENA’s residency shows at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas, $500 cash and V-MODA Cross fade headphones, the winning entry is hugely anticipated. Each giving this sun-soaked classic their individual twist, this EP is an exciting and varied showcase of producer talent.

Axtone is pleased to welcome Germany’s Eddie Thoneick to the Axtone family. The track, ‘Solar’ is an instrumental that’s set to dominate the impending Miami Music Week and beyond.

Eddie’s enlisted his fellow countryman and Axtone favourite, Deniz Koyu to add some bonus ‘Bong’ to this rolling slice of futuristic house music that has an unmistakable Axtone feel to it.

As the summer season opens up world wide with festivals and hundreds of days of back-to-back clubbing, Staar Traxx shines bright amongst the flurry of music with the hugely anticipated release Stase “Into the Light”. Originally premiered at label boss Tom Staar’s Ministry of Sound show in 2014, he has since kept this weapon firmly close to his chest before finally setting the release of the track in the peak of summer 2015.
The thumping intro crescendos into a beautifully original solo harpsichord melody, arguably a sound never heard before in house music. Into the latter part of the breakdown the strings are joined by an incredible surging lead, which lends itself to the explosive drop which almost propels you “Into the Light”, lifting the atmosphere, and intensity throughout. Expect to hear this record as a peak time centerpiece in many DJ sets over the summer

Steve Angello’s hugely respected Size Records latest release comes in the form of a killer collaboration – ‘Temptation’ is the work of Still Young, an elusive duo taken under the wing of label boss Steve Angello and the force behind several high profile collaborations, alongside Italian producers Simon de Jano and Madwill. First played by Steve Angello in his headline sets throughout the summer at major worldwide festivals, this hotly anticipated track is set to be released on 11th December.

Utilising an instantly recognisable sample from Love Sensation by Loleatta Hollaway, dramatic accelerating drums and a driving bassline make for an attention-grabbing intro to the track. Warm piano chords combined with the vocals in the breakdown add some depth and soul to the track, combining with drums, bass and a catchy synth melody for a climactic ending.
