Based in Eugene, OR the project features a host of talented guests whose individual styles offer a distinctive sound that placed the debut album, She’s Driving Down, on a Top 10 of 2021 and “Album Not to Miss” alongside War on Drugs and Lord Huron.

The Sizzos is a collaborative project based in Eugene, OR created by songwriter George Zaninovich featuring guest musicians and co-songwriters. The Sizzos' debut album, She's Driving Down, was tabbed a Top 10 of 2021 and "Album Not To Miss" alongside War on Drugs, Lord Huron, etc. 

The Sizzos are releasing the follow up, a full-length album entitled Glitter in Gravel on vinyl and digitally in August 2023. The songs utilize a sonic palette rooted in indie folk with hints of indie rock and shoegaze by utilizing vintage synth sounds and robust electric guitar.  This collection of songs was written over the course of two years with a heavy focus on relationships to self, one another, and the world around us. George experienced multiple losses of loved ones during the making of this album and that is reflected in stories that capture the paradox of sadness and simultaneous glints of hope. As the title track states, there is glitter in gravel!
