The Perfect Life is an epic electronic soul track, which showcases the collaborations album to dramatic effect. Wayne Coyne from The Flaming Lips joins Moby to deliver an uplifting and melodic anthem.

The much anticipated video for the The Perfect Life was shot in L.A with Coyne and Moby dressed up as a Mexican mariachi band. Watch it here: http://youtu.be/t3ZDqe5j4q8

The casting call was posted on Moby’s Facebook and included some very specific extras, "S&M gimp rhythmic gymnast", "eight roller-skating ghosts", "12 goth choir members", "2 obese bearded bikers in red speedos", "a punk rock brass brand" and " a drunk king: guy with beard age 35-50".

Born on January 21st, 1982, Simon Janvier spent his childhood and his adolescence in rural areas. From his young age, he was exposed to the New Wave and Post-punk music by means of her elder sister. Very early, this intermediary contributed to the development of his musical ear and will define his first influences. It is towards the age of 15 years old that he really became aware of his passion for the music by the practice of the electric guitar. Repeatedly he tried to form a band but his environment restricted the possibility of grouping members. Further to several fruitless attempts, he put aside this project. 

This is in his formations (DEC in physical technology – photonic engineering, DEC in broadcasting technology) where he discovered the conception of electronic devices. These experiences brought him to meet the synthesizer. In 2004, he began to compose his first plays of electronic music. His musical style was mainly characterized between 2009-2011.

In 2012, he already has several tracks mastered and many material detaining an immense potential. His perfectionism, his sensibility and his soul depth are the key of its unique style.

Né le 21 janvier 1982, Simon Janvier passa son enfance et son adolescence en milieu rural. Dès son jeune âge, il fut exposé à la musique New Wave et Post-Punk par le biais de sa sœur ainée. Cet intermédiaire forgeât très tôt son oreille musicale et définira ses premières influences. Ce n’est que vers l’âge de 15 ans qu’il prit véritablement conscience de sa passion pour la musique grâce à la pratique de la guitare électrique. Il tentât à plusieurs reprises de former un ‘’ band '’ pour faire évoluer son art, mais son environnement restreignait la possibilité de regrouper des membres. Suite à plusieurs tentatives infructueuses il mit ce projet de côté. 

Ce sera durant ses formations (D.E.C en Technologie physique – Génie photonique, D.E.C  en Technologie de l'audiovisuel) qu'il fera la découverte de la conception d’appareils électroniques. Ces acquis l’amenèrent à faire la rencontre du synthétiseur. En 2004, il commença à composer ses premières pièces de musique électronique. Sa personnalité musicale se caractérisa principalement entre 2009-2011.

En 2012, il a déjà plusieurs pistes « masterisés » et beaucoup de matériel détenant un potentiel immense. Son perfectionnisme, sa sensibilité et sa grande profondeur sont la clé de son style unique.
