My first proper music video, (Link to Video : http://youtu.be/QPT3uup_pOU), I have had the amazing opportunity to work with the Nightingale of California, Meera Manohar in a re-arragment of the song by Ouseppachan, Andhi Maalai.


The tune of the song is heavily derived from the famous kriti of Saint Thyagaraja, 'Endaro Mahanubhavulu'. Meera and I both love this Thyagaraja swamy krithi and so decided that as our first project, we will do a re-arrangement of the Andhi Maalai song. :-D

The original album was released under A R Rahman's name although he had played only as a keyboardist*. The vocals were by S Janaki in the original version with lyrics by Vairamuthu

She is an "A Grade" artist of All India Radio.

She has given more than 1000 stage shows in Carnatic Classical Vocal & keyboard, Fusion, Devotional, Bhajan & Light music including Jugalbandhi with "Padmavibhushan", "Chevalier" Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia in Paris, France 2011. 

She has cut around 47 Music Albums under JSJ Audio label that include Carnatic Classical Vocal, Carnatic Classical Keyboard, Devotional, Fusion, New age, Indian Pop, Electronic Pop  & Contemporary music.

She composes music and sings for a number of Private Albums, Short Films & Ad Films. She composed music for a Tamil Movie "Prabha", released on 14th December 2018.

She is the disciple of Guruji "Padmavibhushan", "Chevalier" Late Dr M. Balamuralikrishna in Carnatic Classical Music.

In Western Classical Music, she has completed ATCL  (Associate Trinity College London) in Western Classical Vocal from Trinity College London.
Grade 8 in Keyboard Grade 8 in Western Classical Theory & Grade 8 Western Classical Vocal from Trinity College London.

In Hindustani Classical Music, she has completed Junior Diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India.

She is a Graduate in Economics from Stella Maris College, Chennai, a Post Graduate in Indian Music & M.Phil Music from Queen Mary's College, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.
Currently pursuing PhD. Research in Music - Queen Mary's College, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.
