This electrifying downtempo journey - performed at @rebelliondertraumer’s NYE Endrave 2022 - is a love letter to my soulmate, who lost someone dear on the darkest day of the year. It is a musical Fool card, encapsulating the flourishes of our shared experience: abandon, exploration, illumination, transformation, joy and passion. Yet every hallmark of adventure has its shadow: detachment, neglect, illusion, death, sorrow and grief.

Closing Festsaal Kreuzberg’s Kaminzimmer from 8-10am on New Year’s Day, this story is a reminder that every ending is a beginning, that every body has a spirit, that darkness always finds the light, that love is never lost.
