The third track featured on Praigz’s brand new house EP: {EVIL TOLL ROAD!} is the pulsing, catchy, raw and clubby track ‘WOK W ME!’. Praigz conveys a message to us all as a reminder that the pain of trauma and using substance abuse as a coping mechanism will only bring you more pain and trauma even if it feels like everything is getting better. In one of the most significant parts of this song, Praigz explains how he has been, “off these pills then i turn to a zombie, i can’t feel my feelings, off these pills like a zombie, i don’t wanna feel no real things.”

Being in this kind of state isn’t healthy for you or those around you. One must work very hard to break the habits that they have established in life. Habits built through trauma are especially hard to break and substances often seem to be the best choice for a quick fix. Please remember, when whatever you are using or doing to get your dopamine fix runs out, all that pain you were blocking out will come back stronger with a vengeance.
