Yo to the yo, skaters everywhere! Looks like we have another episode of the Sk8 O’Clock Podcast coming to a pair of ears near you! 19 - SKATE 3

Even though you should be out skating right now, we bring you yet, another episode of the Sk8 O’Clock skateboarding podcast, Jose is out this week, so I used my good pal Jonathan to fill in. We cover Crasche Impact-Resistant Protective Sports hats. We at Sk8 O’Clock believe this could potentially bridge the gap between safety and comfort. Crasche hats are lined with  polycarbonate panels (much like that used in bullet-proof glass) and placed in a regular beanie. You can’t sag them or wear them “exactly” how you like your beanies, but in the instance of an unplanned superman dive toward a concrete wall, Crasche will provide an extra safety barrier to your dome piece. We talk about Shake Junt’s new Luh da kids tour going on. Be aware Lizard King just might show up at a skateboard park near you! Very reminiscent of the Tony Hawk’s Secret Tours a while back. We cover David Gravette’s new shoe on Circa, the “Goliath” we don’t actually have the shoe, but can attest that we love David Gravette, and if he digs the shoe, then so do we. 20 - Crasche Hats

This week on the Sk8 O’Clock Skateboarding podcast we feature two fisheye lenses you can use with your smartphone. The Olloclip and the Death Lens. The major difference being the price point and their execution. The death lens is much cheaper and comes with a protective case. The Death Lens also boasts a much wider angle and gives a little more of that “skateboarding” feel. The Olloclip designed more with photography in mind, has a much clearer image, higher price point, and simply clips into place without the need for a case. These are two amazing products that will give your smartphones a lot more mileage when filming skateboarding. They also save you the need to bring a vx1000 camera around. This week the new Gold Goons video came out and half way into the show we decided to do an all out review episode once Aaron has had a chance to watch it. The Battle at the Berries 8 roster is now out. We cover the Paul Schmidt article when talking about Aaron’s favorite new board, the Ishod Weir twin tail Cop Trap board. We get into some gritty details about board shape, width, wheel size, and even a tip to save you from wheel bite.
