Manchester-born, Berlin-based producer Setaoc Mass returns to his own SK_Eleven imprint with his third outing on the Cycles EP. Here we see the artist’s propulsive brand of techno take on an extra dynamic, starting with the muscular, mind-warping drive of ‘Cyber’ taking control, ‘Kunfus’ reverts back to a highly purified, galvanising techno groove, coalescing crisp percussion and a perpetual stomp to devastating effect, whilst turning over the sci-fi indebted 'Structured Deceit’ adds to the strong release with its mesmerising melodies and ceaseless energy. Finished of by the more downbeat, reverb-drenched, insulated mindset of ‘Escape From You’.

Berlin based SLV DE makes a welcome return to Soma with his latest release, Gestern und Heute EP. Having gradually built himself to be one of the most exciting prospects on the Soma roster, SLV DE continues to impressive with his dark yet emotive sound. This release also features a spectacular remix from rising UK Techno act Cleric.

The melancholic Artefakt opens the EP with its wonderfully crafted syncopated beats and cold, haunting synth work. Kreuzwege has SLV back on four to the floor territory and working a real dance floor burning as tweeked out leads are bolstered by typical powerful drum work from SLV. Jetzt keeps things moving at a fast pace yet brings a more emotive side. Intense percussive workouts drive the tracks with fleeting pads taking the tone of the tracks to other heights. Cleric takes on Artefakt and delivers a suitably punchy, furious rework yet still retains the essence of the original.

Another unique release has SLV DE standing out from the crowd with his distinctive sound.

Eclectic Limited has caught our eye once again following an enviable output by the likes of Giorgio Gigli, Radial, Ryuji Takeuchi, Lag and DJ Surgeles.

Proving they have a focus on the utmost quality, the newest EP sees German creator Ken Karter link up with a remix from the legendary Electric Indigo who calls Vienna, Austria her home.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “DE30_2432.4” that as the name suggests, implies mathematical influence, where numbers inspire his music creation. It’s a hypnotic and cerebral experience that is teeming with expert precision and emotion in equal measure.
