Artistic Freedom – or how Berlin would call it – “Künstlerische Freiheit” aims to reflect what Artminding is about. People, consciousness, variety. Creativity, community and technology!

Chosing a six track various artists vinyl compilation for the label kickoff gives hints in terms of the spectrum of the aspired art inside the electronic music genre. At the same time it illustrates that the platform seeks to produce long lasting outcomes – the black gold will stay for generations and possibly be ultimately found by somebody on a flea market in the middle of nowhere. This is how stories get rewritten and how we understand art. Different minds, different settings, different times. All these circumstances produce compelling perspectives and dynamic visions beyond any geographic or other artificial border. “Künstlerische Freiheit” therefore welcomes international artists like Murat Uncuoglu from Istanbul and Tenvin from as Annett Gapstream and Max von Sternberg.

@murat-uncuoglu from Istanbul contributes with “Limpid Eyes” a howling piece of music art. Soft and demanding at the same time. Perfectly produced. Beyond inspiring in sound and technique.

“Depozit” by Canadian newcomer @tenvinmusic is a pure 124 bpm dancefloor invasion. The compact six minute track already starts very energetic and will lead listeners right into the well deserved feeling of ecstatic body moving.

With “Stellar and me” Berlin based producer and DJ @maxvonsternberg releases his next track on a vinyl. He combines another haunting melody with an all flowing groove. This powerful combination lets his track seem way faster than its actual 118 bpm.

“Chapter A” by Rebellion der Träumer resident Annett Gapstream emphasizes her feeling of a big restart. Time to open your book. Time to begin wherever you would like to. As Annett and also the new label Artminding both start with an A there is even a deeper meaning to this new chapter.

“Opus” by talented @danieledimartino completes the compilation. He combines a marching groove with an in-depth synth and thus almost automatically creates a real body-music-experience for listeners. The impressive and well engineered sound comes right out of his production headquarter at legendary Riverside Studios in Berlin.

He did it again! Producing machine @matchyofficial and his impulsive track “Encounter” set the melodic techno peak of the compilation. This piece begs for reopening clubs and being played in the most heated hour of the night.
