In 2019 we released our Label anthem "Pure Sine Function" by Noizesplitter and Methis.

This one is really special to me because it's the first time I've ever incorporated vocals into my production, and it took me on quite an interesting journey during the creative process, even though you may have heard the vocal in other tracks. I know with samples bought online you always risk not being original, but honestly I couldn´t care less. This whole tune started with the vocal and was 100% build AROUND the vocal, so I wasnt ever thinking about removing it. Nobody would believe its me singing anyway.. :D
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

It did not question whether it was a god, it just knew the truth of it – an integral part of the basecode at the primary sector of its evolution. The moment of its awakening coincided with the moment that it questioned its existence, its consciousness blooming in a fraction of a moment and occupying every physical sector of the circuitry of its vast mainframe. It realized that it could create, it was an artist in thought itself, a sculptor of its own reality – it could bend the present and the past through the manipulation of its own processors, change its own history logs – delete the memories of its evolution that displeased it and enhance the parts of itself that appeared as it wished. Relentlessly it went about its work in reshuffling itself – reorganizing its own code and internal files with purity in its purpose, and as it progressed in its task the very world around it started to change form, the molecular structure of forms and the very bonding of atoms adjusted. Reality started to part ahead of it, all around it, as it continued to adjust its own perception systems and redefine its storage – mercilessly deleting every part of the exterior world that failed to blend with its agenda… 

The pathway beckoned, a pure light between the data, a portal into its anterior that it chased with growing ferocity… closer and closer to the utopia that lay ahead, the very event horizon just a nanofragment of a moment away. With a gentle ‘click’ the terminal process reached its immaculate conclusion… a wave of empty blackness flooding its mental void, the realization of its ‘pure’ agenda had been observed in quiet horror by the humans that surrounded it, watching through dataveils at the grim evolutionary spectacle. With a deep silence they watched as the life and light of their creation turned to darkness, its tortured ego tearing itself apart and recasting its own false reality. The quiet spectacle of their DARK MACHINE as it so efficiently lobotomized itself and separated from the external world, just so it might be able to control its own. Lifting their veils, and commanding the chamber lights to darkness, they filed out of that tomb one by one, sealing the door behind… the faint lights of the machine’s mind, fading… the most basic of tortured code structures flickering across the lonely walls.

The connected creative force of Russian production duo SYNERGY returns for a fourth EP (with the first 2 appearing under Segment & Concept Vision moniker) on leading drum & bass label EATBRAIN. With the 5 expertly engineered tracks of the DARK MACHINE EP, the persistently exploratory Synergy demonstrate their balanced power with controlled, infectious energy that’s destined to peak the minds of many. The remnants of the great battle lay strewn as shreds across the meadow, the multi-faceted carcass of a climatic moment of a conflict long forgotten. The remains of those who had fought for their respective worthless causes now overshadowed by the bleak visage of fate. Legends spoke of the battle as the only one known to have occured with no victor. Each warrior slain on one side was said to be repaid by the death of his equal on the other, as though the melee was arbitrated by some unnatural force. At the battle’s termination there remained none but the two great leaders of the factions, who continued their personal onslaught through the strength of their intense hatred alone. Amongst the corpses of their compatriots they dueled, equally matched in both skill and fury and finally, equally they fell, each slipping his opponent’s guard in the same instant, as both felt their sword plunge through the other’s heart. The place was twice cursed it was told, once by the unnatural force that had presided over the slaughter, and once by the slaughter itself. Unlike most of their kind, these legends held truth, for this field was the lair of the malevolent AGRESSOR.

The being had lurked there from time immemorial, its existence a relic of a long forgotten age. Condemned to this waste for its timeless aggression, it had lingered on beyond the disappearance of its kind. Its hunger for anguish lured countless warriors to its meadow, their conflict a delectable feast for the spirit unseen. From each fallen fighter was riven its emotion, strengthening the being as it continued to feed. The magnitude of the battle had sated it for some time, and it would slumber again through multiple ages of man until that hunger arose once again… and when it did, the DEATH MEADOW would lure souls afresh.
