We welcome the notorious German producer Re:growth.

Re:growth joins the Yamatai imprint with his highly anticipated debut single ‘Nonanom / Take Me’ a devastating two-tracker that’s already turning heads across some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including Motion, Melkweg, and Grelle Forelle

Since making waves with his breakout ‘Get Close EP’ on Empathy Audio in 2024, Kevin (aka Re:growth) has been on an unstoppable rise. Blending dark, minimal textures with a razor-sharp underground sensibility, he’s delivered standout cuts like ‘Pluka’ and ‘Don’t Talk’, earning him a coveted collaboration with minimal maestro Teej on ‘Juxtapose / Mori’. The buzz hasn’t slowed since, with more projects in the pipeline including more upcoming work on Nyx and whispers of a release on Transparent Audio.

His Yamatai debut marks a significant milestone in this upward journey. Both ‘Nonanom’ and ‘Take Me’ are masterclasses in minimal production tracks that have been rigorously tested across European clubs and radio, gaining widespread acclaim.

Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, a few years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

Influenced by the likes of Prodigy, Orbital and Chemical Brothers, Tyler Frost was hooked on electronic music from an early age. Paul T & Edward Oberon have cemented themselves as a house house name in the V Recordings camp since signing with us back in 2016. From their first releases through to the current day, their material has received constant support from the the drum and bass A-list, Goldie, Randall, Bryan Gee and Kings Of The Rollers to name just a few. These two producers are melting pot of styles and sub-genres, with their productions showcasing their ability to move effortlessly from liquid tones through to dark sub-driven atmospheres. 

Their first move of 2019 comes in the form of Look For The Light / Broken, two songs that are perfect examples of their ability to switch the mood with the click of a finger. Whether it’s the lightning fast stabs of Look For The Light or the thunderous bass of Broken, it’s undeniable that the pair have cooked up another storm. 

2019 is set to be a huge year for the pair, this being the first of many huge releases set to shake the scene.
