We are pleased to welcome Leeds Dubstep don BREAKFAKE to the Wheel & Deal Records
family with a stellar EP to kick off our releases in 2022. The RESOLUTION EP is a blend of original foundation sounds and percussions with modern Dubstep sound design. BREAKFAKE’S tracks have featured regularly on N-Type’s Rinse Fm show and also had support from DJ’s such as Mala, J Kenzo, Hatcha, Joe Nice, DeepTempo, Oddkut, Ternion Sound and more.

We are happy to announce that on February 17th the 3rd part of our annual Ultimate Campilation will appear on all streamings platforms, Junodownload & Beatport. In anticipation of the release, we share with you one of the most dangerous tracks from the compilation. 

This is the anthem without a doubt. A catchy vocal sample creates a headnod while the dynamic beat rocks the body and the sub bass sets the accents. The tune has already made some buzz among dubstep heads. Another banger from @head_space! 

The track is exclusively available at our bandcamp, and on February 7th the entire compilation will be exclusively available at our bandcamp.

Ultimate Campilation Vol. 3 is the next part of the compilation from DUB.RAW, which presents a solid cut of bass music from Russian-speaking artists. It includes both established and up-and-coming producers, as well as musicians, who have just decided to enter the scene. The compilation covers different facets of bass music from reggae, dub to rap, UK garage, breakbeat, jungle, drum & bass, dubstep and dub techno - which music researchers combine into the hardcore continuum phenomenon. 

The compilation takes its name from the annual Russian open air soundsystem festival - DUB.RAW Camp (cAmpilation) - since the idea of ​​​​creating the collection was born at the camp in 2018. Many members of the compilation took part in camps and other events organized by DUB.RAW. Therefore, it is not surprising that some of the presented tracks are somehow connected with the activity of the label. Traditionally, at the end of the compilation you will hear a few dubplates, which rock our dances in recent years.

18 years ago in basements and bedroom studio’s in south London, a new sound was born….
Mala was part of the music revolution which came to be known as ‘dubstep'.

DMZ, the label was created and 1 year later a bi-monthly event at Brixton’s Mass began.
Both label and event became pillars of the dubstep scene.
A scene built on dub-plates and vinyl only productions. played on heavyweight sound systems.

18 years later, Mala has decided to re-issue his back catalogue digitally for the 1st time.

All tracks have been re-mastered by the original engineer: Jason @ Transition Mastering, and still sound as heavy, warm & timeless as the initial vinyl only releases.

CXT007 presents the fourth of the label’s collaborative EPs where two producers present a solo track each alongside collaborating on two more tracks.

The final release on the label links up two UK-based favourites in the 140-sphere. With a heavy-weight solo track each - longtime Sicaria Sound set staple ‘Gruffa’ by nova alongside Taiko’s punchy ‘Pastorius’ - the flip of the record then introduces two dynamic collaborative efforts which perfectly interlace melody and bass.
