Bredren have been steadily carving out their own niche for several years now, to ever more acclaim. Last year they started their own Bredren Invites night at the legendary Fuse club in Brussels, their home stomping grounds, to showcase their style alongside likeminded spirits such as SpectraSoul, S.P.Y., Alix Perez and Skeptical.

Rampage invited them to bring the concept to the stage of the biggest drum&bass and dubstep party in the world, and bring a few of their resident dj’s along for the ride. To celebrate this appearance, they put together an EP with all the dj’s that joined them; Phase, MC Mota, One87, M-zine and Scepticz: four excursions into the deep end of the drum&bass spectrum.

One of the young guns from Belgium that is doing serious damage at the moment is Antoon aka Basstripper. From laid back rollers to nasty jumpup workouts, the man skips back and forth and nails everything he tries his hand at. And it’s not just us who are impressed. Wilkinson, Andy C, DH Hazard, Turno, A.M.C, K Motionz, Kanine and so many more have been championing his music lately. And he is set to ramp things up even more with this one. Already in the dj sets of the drum&bass elite for a while, it has dj’s fiending for a copy and rightfully so. It’s unexpected, original, funky and super effective! Noodle Bar is the place to be, clearly.

Up next at Incurzion Audio is the long-awaited return of veteran and golden child of the label, Hexa. An extremely talented and diverse producer, we are graced with a rare deep and sinister EP from him - a release which is a testament to his quality and depth as an artist across many sub-genres of drum and bass.

The EP begins with a rolling, menacing minimal number setting the tone of this dark and mysterious musical journey. Quickly, we ramp up the energy with a sound design monster as the second tune - Pandora's Box - which sits as a strong highlight of the EP, designed for damage on the dancefloor.

Continuing to delve into Hexa's broad repertoire of talent, the third track on the EP is an extremely well crafted uplifting experience, in stark contrast to the rest of the tracks. With an air of mystery and a feeling of wonder, "Flashlight" is a welcome change of pace in an otherwise dark story.

Finally, rounding off the EP is a deep and bass-driven vocal track with Incurzion Audio's vocalist Maria-lea. A fiercely strong bassline complimented perfectly by eery, solemn vocals signs off this EP with immense strength.

We are truly blessed to have Hexa return to our label with such a well crafted 4 track EP, and we are extremely confident in its content as always.
