SKIN is a sound and sculptural performance by Fiona Valentine Thomann, based on the very public yet extremely intimate space within the screen of smartphones and scanners. Using QR Codes and trackers imprinted on people's bodies, the performance translates body scans into Augmented Reality Sculpture and sound, physically and sonically highlighting the gesture of scanning.
