15 YEARS OF SEX TAGS MANIA! Established in Bergen 2004 and ran by DJ Sotofett & DJ Fett Burger the first 4-5 years as one of Norways only labels consistently releasing House & Techno on vinyl. Since about 2008/09 it's been operated by DJ Sotofett.

Skatebård's "Conga" has turned to be one of the most sought after releases from the Sex Tags Mania catalog with it's sparse pressing of about 2-300 copies – though most of the original stock was given away as the record gained minimal interest in 2005. The original record was cut with excellence by Lawrie Immersion – and pressed in his own plant – the now defunct Curved Pressings. MANIA 30 – the repress of "Conga" has as close to original sound as possible and it also carries a new B-side – the Crystal Bois live version of "Conga" from 2007, featuring Skatebård on male vox!

Skatebård (aka Bård Aasen Lødemel) is warmly welcomed back to the Bordello. Following 2013´s Love in the Night comes a 12” of quite a different hue. Colour Negatives collects three brand new tracks from the Digitalo founder. The late night rave funk session of “Fujicolor Pro 400H” spikes and spins on beams of concentrated energy. Those same infectious hooks dawn into the flip. “Agfachrome RSX II” is bright, clean and joy filled; Skatebård delivering pure goodness to nurture any bodies beginning to flag. Paranoia and the break of day enters with “Kodak Portra 800”, a minimal two stepping demon that cuts like vinegar. Shape shifting synthesizer sounds from an artist who simply ignores genres.

AGFACHROME RSX II

Omer joins the Love On The Rocks family with a massive underground smash, the not-so- well-kept secret rework that’s been doing the rounds recently among a handful of trusted DJs, inducing hands-in-the-air hysteria and clocking up more than a few plays in clubs from Robert Johnson to Panorama Bar. 

Finally it lands here as the title track of the EP, perfectly tooled for any poolside dance party.

Finding just enough room for another huge jam to share the same side, Omer moves effortlessly into his trademark late night melancholic trip territory with High Hopes, leading in with snapping percussion before giving way to a fierce bassline, swirling layers of melody and synths that resonate with warmth and emotion.

Rounding out the proceedings, Back and Forth pulses with electric energy from the word go, quickly pulling you into its distinctly neon after-dark atmospherics, with a forboding hook that twists around itself amid spiralling tension, and on into euphoria. The binary form was not one with which she stereotypically aligned. As she moved fluently beneath the crowd of party goers and distant revellers she began to question the theory of her own rational existence and her place upon this sweet earth. Her gender was irrelevant for she was empowered and fearless, mighty and fierce. The clouds parted and the sunlight radiantly shone through the black, murky shadows. In the glow she began to dance.

Skinnerbox deliver a new EP on Turbo Recordings, a club focussed record with quite a punch. The pair are remixed by Swedish stalwart Axel Boman.

Llewellyn seamlessly navigates true a wide array of compelling sound narratives as he returns to Peter Invasion’s always excellent Riotvan imprint with his “San Junipero” EP. Stretching just over the 8-minute mark, the EP’s title track kicks off with a straight hitting beat frame and roughed up clap sequences before slowly introducing its beautifully orchestrated main synth that sees you ride into the Italian Rivièra sunset sometime 1980.
