One year ago today, October 29, 2023, we said our final goodbye to 159. A building that is dear to our hearts and the birth site of the Robot Heart community. We gathered there to celebrate life, love and beats. 

Closing set, 11AM to .......!

I played many closing sets within those walls, but this “final final” hit differently. I poured my heart into the music, weaving through pockets of tunes that felt just right for that moment—to honor Geo, the space, the neighborhood, and our dusty roots. 

Big thanks to Benji for making this celebration happen and to all the family and friends who brought the Halloween heat! 

The red door is etched in my soul, and seeing it on the playa this year was truly special. (Thank you, Zach C., for taking the lead.)

Infos:Christophe Salin is a music enthusiast - a producer, music collector, DJ and equipment lover based in
Lübeck/Germany. Together with his wife, Daria Salin, he runs Salin Records , as a platform for art and
electronic music.
Christophe is a house music lover all through. Jazz and disco have a deep influence on his work.
Having his teens in the early 2000s he is also touched by the hypnotic-loop-orientated music from
back in those days.

Ancienne chanteuse de Nightmares On Wax, Comfy Bella, la productrice et DJ de talent venant tout droit de Leeds, a vu son premier EP "Konkahs" sortir l'année dernière sur le label Released : c'est une pure merveille et assurément l'une des plus belles releases de 2018. Ses sets sont très colorés et peuvent aller de l'ambient jazz aux sons beaucoup plus punchy : c'est toujours un régal!

Christophe Salin 
Salin Records est le label de Daria et Christophe, un couple allemand absolument mordu de musique, qui, de leur petite ville de Lübeck, réussissent un coup de maître en s'entourant d'artistes affirmés, et en ayant une exigence toute particulière sur la musique qu'ils travaillent. Christophe est attaché à l'histoire qu'il veut raconter avec sa musique, et après 6 EPs de lui-même et 2 autres EPs sur son propre label, son objectif ultime est de pouvoir donner la possibilité au digger de pouvoir acheter les yeux fermés n'importe quelle sortie de Salin Records, tant il mise sur l'effort, la qualité et l'amour mis dans sa musique.

Sable Blanc 
Sable Blanc, batteur d'origine, a passé 5 ans dans une école de musique de jazz, et a très vite été passionné par l'histoire de la house et ses origines. Il qualifie sa musique comme musique d'ascenseur assumée, et a un réel penchant pour la musique douce et d'ambiance. Après avoir sorti 4 EPs, et plusieurs V/A, dont le dernier est sur le Various "Beyond Salty Island" sur Salin Records fin 2018, il s'apprête à sortir son plus gros projet musical : son premier long format, un LP sur New-York, qui sera également le premier long format de Salin Records.
