"Yeah, I think I was just plagued with luck issues. In the past, Gao Qiu would mercilessly stomp all over all my neighbors and be at my door and all over my side of the map before I was really ready to hang. This current game Wily Warrior was actually able to resist a few attacks, and Gao Qiu seemed more concerned with bludgeoning Hairy Priest and Blue Face Beast who expanded all over the place. I poached some heroes and resources off of Gao Qiu and got Tattooed Priest and Wily Warrior to join me, and that set up good operations.

At present it's March 1115, and I have ten territories and 155 popularity. I just need to reform my main army (which now needs to be split up because I have enough heroes to manage two crack teams) and take down what's left of Gao Qiu's territory in the south (which is nice and ripe for expansion) and get ready to blitzkrieg Kai Feng. I'm almost positive I can win this in the eleven years I have left." -- MMM0019
