it was formed off school hours and the corner stores
lifted from the womb I took the burden on my shoulders

back to the lab, dig the dirt, and let the leaves unfold
write italics and bold -I type set my soul

I'm all experience in systems never fit the mold
I picked up wisdom reading books and digging record stores
my old man spinning 12's of the days before
skipping lectures finding treasures hid among the gold
my friends could never understand  so I just never told
introverted in my own i circumvent this world
finding solace in my passion is exceptional
hope she finds a way to love me fore my heart turn cold

take a pen write with calmth and let my worries go
give a letter to the people that I love the most 
remember to thank Allah when i'm on my own
whatever test he grants me I will call it growth
I'll grow even more - shine like a binary star

Ten Thousand (Demo)

I can't even decide between Exhibit A and C, to me they're both absolute classics. I'll always remember when both those tracks dropped, I was in school and me and my friend were bugging out over it for like a whole year: still one of the hardest songs I've ever heard tbh the verses are absolutely ridiculous to this day. Was completely blown away by it I'd never heard anything like it before back then - really opened my eyes to the fact that crazy hip hop was being made in the present day. I remember how motivated they got me, the energy from the tracks is just different, crazy contagious.

Never even thought I'd remix this one but as soon as I'd finished this beat I knew I'd need a powerful acapella to go over it, and immediately thought of this track. Defo very different to the OG and a lot faster too: I just thought it was a good fit: gives a different kind of energy to the lyrics. I really lost my mind over this one a couple times throughout the week: really happy with this beat and to remix such a classic over it really levelled it up crazily for me. or acceptance hauling in - rebellion fazing out
It's getting rid of doubt revolving through your ins and outs
looking in the mirror seeing all the grey hairs sprout
- reality hits with all its baggage
looking back at your youth will only lasts you seconds
and I haven't changed a bit since that I remember
might not be my November but I packed for winter
the journey will come to end days in future
refer to all the has-beens like things that I used to
fondly look back at the hurdles that I over stepped
regretting all times waking up instead overslept
wisdom through experience the best secret kept
this goes out to the times that I nearly wept
and this goes out to the times that I truly would
I'm grateful for the moments that I finally understood

The end is nigh I put my faith into a sigh
take a leap into the unknown with no hand to keep the binds
and that's that - you can hide a million years

but what good is poetry kept wandering on paper plains
in a desert of lines navigating rough drafts and skeletons
illusions of a mirage that have never been
