With deep rollers and vibes en masse, Felix Raymon delivers what D&B lovers need. After first releasing on Austrian label “Moshbit Records” and Dutch label “High Tea Music”, Felix first arrived at Addictive Behaviour in January 2018 where he released the Hydro EP together with his brother in crime Smuskind. 

Following up now with a solo second EP with support from Italian trio Invadhertz, this release further cements the German producer’s place with Addictive Behaviour and the UK market, #f*ckBrexit. The three tracks on offer here display Felix’s diverse production talents. and vibrant creativity.

‘Dorado’ sets an uplifting scene, with shimmering pads followed by rolling bass lines and stacked drum hits. Whilst ‘Bad Trip’ pulls you into a very different journey. A bass fuelled rhythm pulsating like palpitations, full of switch ups like a muddled mind on ‘LSD’. To finish, ‘Lucifer’ a collab with Invadhertz that delivers deadly bass growls, a shattering snare beat and demonic samples throughout. 

Felix Raymon is pushing the music making boundaries with this latest release. A new name still to some but not for long . . .

Kyrist makes a blistering return to Dispatch this September with the ‘Fragment EP’.

Her third solo label release, the Bristol based producer celebrates the splinters and nuances to her ever evolving sound.

‘Hoodlum’ and ‘Outbreak’ are out and out weapons, with Kyrist striking at the jugular, whilst ‘Fragment’ shows a more experimental side.

This continues with her two collaborations; a classic tech foray with HLZ on ‘Konflicted’, but a more new-school approach alongside Document One.

Uniting the varying influences and aspects to her sound, ‘Fragment EP’ is a testament to Kyrist’s expanding prowess within the darker realms of drum & bass today.

Back on that collab business, the boys in VC are once again skimming the delicious cream off the top of the dnb scene, and bringing you a tasty release of hard-hitting partnerships, featuring some new alliances, as well as some stellar remixes of previous tunes. 

The first two in the series saw some massive meetings of producer talents, with the lads teaming up with Wingz, Kyrist, Vowel, Philth, and many other big and emerging names in the scene. 

Vol. 3 is no different, be it the maxxed out neuro banger of 'Vobelord' with ABIS, or the slick, rolling sounds of 'Gully Tuckshop' with Primitive Instinct; the unique styles that emerge when two creative forces come together is undeniable. This release also sees them go head to head with the mighty Cruk on 'Bindipper', which as the name suggests is an absolute stinker! Philth returns again as a collaborator on 'Flags', a moody cut of deep, 4am tech. 

On remix duties, this release just gets silly. Kyrist puts her spin on the VC & Vowel track 'Dispersed', and takes it to a very dark, very nasty place. Creatures then steps in by reworking her collab 'Rolex' into a big, steppy slice of techy drum and bass. Two producers who continue to make a serious impact on the scene coming together, it was never gunna be anything less than absolutely ridiculous, and these tracks don't disappoint! 

This series continues to show the power of producers putting their brains & laptops together, as well as presenting a cross-section of the stupidly good talent overflowing from the scene at the minute! Not one to be missed for sure, this series is an essential arsenal of mental tunes for any dnb dj.

‘The Full Moon EP’ sees Philth & Wreckless join forces for a project created during two sessions at Philth’s studio. With their solo work making up some of our favourite tracks on the label, this combination of artists makes the EP quite special. 

Sharing a love of classic breakbeats and 1999 tech rollers, they made a conscious decision not to over-polish the mixes - keeping the raw edge to the drums and dirty bass textures. Aiming to bring back the rough feel of their favourite older tunes, with arrangements that roll out for the DJ's. 

During these sessions Wreckless noticed that it was a ‘Full Moon’, just as the title track was taking shape - a drum led track that grows and develops throughout, balancing layers of subtle additions to the driving weight of the tune.   

These concepts are reflected in the artwork, with the 'tech moon' representing the meeting of rugged natural sounds and modern technology.
