Nachdem wir wehmütig unsere zuletzt geplante Veranstaltung absagen bzw. verschieben mussten, haben wir zur Abwechslung auch mal ein paar gute Neuigkeiten:

Wir möchten uns nämlich noch einmal kurz die Zeit nehmen um LVCK SLAVE, welcher auf unserer ersten Party diesen Jahres am 1. Oktober schon feierlich die Tunes vom Stapel laufen lassen hat, ordnungsgemäß bei uns willkommen zu heißen!

Still und heimlich beheimateten wir den gebürtigen Leipziger & 2 Guys 1 Dub - Vasallen schon seit etwa 4 Jahren in unserem Kosmos. Als er sich 2017 dazu entschied, sein Lager in Dresden aufzuschlagen, fand er bei uns nicht nur gleichgesinnte Liebhaber des berüchtigten Trommelbasses, sondern auch gleichzeitig eine Hand voll neuer Freunde am Ufer der Elbe. Seit mittlerweile 8 Jahren treibt er nun schon hinter den Tellern verschiedenster Tanzlokalitäten sein Unwesen und begeistert die Leute mit einemblumigen Bouquet aus rollenden Melodien und kernigen Steppern im Abgang. Kurzgesagt spielt er alles, solange es im niederen Frequenzspektrum genügend Würze hat.

Wir freuen uns somit super doll ihn endlich offiziell bei uns willkommen heißen zu dürfen & freuen uns auf viele weitere, deftige Abende mit ihm ❤ Lasst euch sein Promo-Set schmecken.

iBOT is a serious force to be reckoned with!  
This 14-year-old Junglist has accumulated an array of successes that include releases on Gorilla Warfare, Storno Beatz and Camo Tribe, as well as winning the Best Male Mix Award at the Up and Comers Awards hosted by Twisted Indulgence. With his tracks being played at more events, iBOT has gained the support from heavyweights such as DJ SS, Ray Keith and Critical Impact, and landed regular shows on Life FM, Kool, Rough Tempo, Code Red, Thames Delta, Bassdrive and Epidemik. Formation Records is proud to present iBOT’s debut EP ‘Dark Matters’.

‘Mash It Down’ featuring DJ SS is a sure-fire success. It demonstrates nostalgic sensibilities and pays homage to the jungle of yesteryear while infusing the flavours of newfound energy. This dancefloor riddim is a proper catchy number.

‘Pulsate’ is a sinister banger from start to finish. The intro effortlessly secretes a cool, understated lure that captures your attention, before leading you into skillfully executed drop that delivers in the deadliest of fashions! 

The titled track ‘Dark Matters’ is not one to be ignored. This menacing dark steppa begins with mysterious, arpeggiating keys paving the way to a perfectly poised roller, punctuated by warping distorted bass and hints of gritty growls.

The final track ‘Mad Rush’ says it all in the name. The ominous introduction comprised of boundless stretches of atmosphere has you anticipating what is to come. After a moment of space, we are faced with a deep, stimulating groove filled with pockets of modulated, well-produced bass and an ever-present drum pattern.

‘I’m on Fire’ ft DJSS is one that cannot be ignored! The catchy riff in the intro complemented by the mesmerizing vocals leads us to a drop filled with straight vibes that mutate their way through the duration with various rhythmic progressions and precisely executed FX. 

‘Mindreader’ is is one of our favorites. With a powerful drum section and polished composition of bass, this methodical stomp brings a serious presence that is sure to leave the room full of dirty bass faces.
