There is a brilliant star on the musical horizon and his name is Skeedo. While on the cusp of breaking American music wide open, this artist of pure light and sound was born in Nigeria in the city of Jos, and has gone on to shape and invent a distinctive and unmistakable musical sound. A Hip/Hop and Afrobeat artist, he left his homeland to conquer the magically beautiful city of lights: Paris. Skeedo actually transcends definition or limits, save that he is an international artist who, throughout his career of exploration and discovery, seeks to touch the world with his music. As he travels the globe, with now a countless numbers of fans, the next country that he is scheduled to conquer is America.
Skeedo is well familiar with the growth and passion of American music, and acknowledges being impassioned about all the innovations in American Hip-Hop, while admiring the unique stylization. Of artists such as Bow Wow, Chris Brown, Jay Z and others, when he infuses rap with Can, Fela, and Afrobeat music, what emerges in a totally original, genre crossing and unforgettable sound. Through his gifts, Afrobeat tones and rhythms meld and merge, becoming something new and exciting. Having recently come to American shores, he is already mastering music at one of the best studios in America, Sterling Sound.
