Dubstep is a thriving in the world of EDM. Dubstep is a complex genre of Electronic Dance Music, or EDM rather, that originated in South London, England. Its first appearance was in the late 1990s as a development within a lineage of related styles in the EDM classification. It is mixed with 2-Step Garage, Dub, Techno, Drum and Bass, Broken Beat, Jungle and Reggae. The growth of Dubstep started in 2012, with Skrillex making his powerful breakthrough in the industry. Skrillex, or Sonny Moore, was a crazy huge inspiration in the Dubstep scene, with HUNDRADS of artist popping up rapidly. These artists took the inspiration from Sonny, and many other producers in the scene, and constantly changed the sound of the genre over the last 5+ years. Dubstep has made a huge impact in the EDM industry, and we hope this pack can help further that legacy.
