I little something I threw together to try to express my disdain for the government and their lack of care for us all in these difficult times. The lyrics had fallen into place after watching a video on Facebook which used the words of We fell asleep written by Author Haroon Rashid. I have freely borrowed from them. Not all rebellion has to be delivered with anger....

They’re telling me one thing but they mean the opposite
And I don’t know how much more of this I can take
They’re telling their lies to cover up their shame
Their eyes still smile the lies still stay the same. 

Revealing those lies that spew from ear to ear 
Like grinning ghost clowns that cling onto your fear
So listen between the lies 
or put your tongue out for the pill
And look right into their eyes, 
You’ll see it’s you they’re trying to kill.  

Disney has lost its magic 
Paris has lost its romance 
We’re all kept busy clapping 
so the puppeteers can dance
