Sombre, puissant, rythmé, les adjectifs ne manquent pas pour définir cet EP résolument techno du DJ Français. Entre l’orage radioactif et la pluie acide, on se sent transporté dans un univers parallèle désolé, aride et obscur, recelant de nombreux mystères non-élucidés. On se sent dès le début pris dans un tourment de basses profondes nous retournant telles des lames de fond sournoises, accompagnées de leur lot de sirènes aux mélodies tranchantes et meurtrières.
Vous l’aurez compris,pour sa cinquante et unième sortie,Boxon Records ne fait pas dans la dentelle avec cet EP résolument sombre qui vous fera penser que les utopies et les bisounours, c’est fini.
Présent sur la scène électro depuis 2005, Skinlips offre une techno sournoise agrémentée de rythmiques écrasantes.
En mars 2012,son premier Maxi « Shock » sorti chez ThAF Records reçoit un grand nombre de soutiens tant dans le monde de l’électro que dans le monde de la musique en général. Ses morceaux ont été joués par Gtronic, Proxy, Cyberpunkers, Far Too Loud, The Oddword ou encore Tom Deluxx.
Après un deuxième Maxi « At the Drop » toujours chez ThAF Records, il gagne de l’expérience en tant que DJ en jouant à Fuse (Bruxelles), Egg (Londres), Yip Yab (Munich) ou même le 101 (Clermont- Ferrand) et en partageant la scène avec Boys Noize, Len Faki, BirdyNamNam, Oliver Hutermaan, Beat Torrent, Tom Deluxx et Technasia.
Son EP « Zone 51 » sortira le 21 avril chez Boxon Records.

So I went full analog, except for the perc.
Not much else to say, this is my first LP.
There are some tracks that are about a yer old, I've improved a bit with the synth since then and you can tell by the difference in quality, but I decided not to record them again cause I kinda got used to the sound they had, maybe I'll redo them in the future.
Anyway I still have a lot to improve with mixing and mastering, I'm also working on new monitors so don't kill me if sound is a bit off.

2. THE PRINCE & THE FROG

Aged 31, Skinlips a french Techno composer. Dj activist since 2000, these tracks brings a fusion between the smashed rhythms and the techno music. He is launched on Beatport through his first Maxi "Shock" on THaF Records released March 2012, which received many excellent feedbacks from the electronic scene and from the beyond audience. supported and played by Gtronic, Proxy, Cyberpunkers, Far Too Loud, The Oddword or even Tom Deluxx.
So, come its remix of "Vulcan" for Jackin With The Drums, released 30th April 2012 on We Blast Out Records.
The second Maxi is "At the drop" released on THaF Records in August 2012 with the remix by doctR and Jackin With The Drums. He gained experience as a DJ while playing at Fuse (Brussels), Egg (London), Yip Yab (Munich) or even at 1O1 (Clermont-Ferrand) and playing with artists like Boys Noize, Len Faki, BirdyNamNam, Oliver Huntemann, Beat Torrent, Tom Deluxx or yet Technasia.
You'll soon discover its next release "Zone 51" which will be released in 21,April 2014 on Boxon Records.
